Fit for a night on the holodeck
It's a typical costume cut, square and long in torso and arms. The insignias is fair, and overall the costune is recognizable. No fashion design awards being won here. The material has decent stretch to it, especially in the black area around the neck. It had that "chemical" smell and the material felt a little rough to the touch at first. No complaint just fyi in case you plan to wear it fresh out of the package. The shirt wears well and has held up to a few rounds through the washer already. Will beam down with another landing party again.

Easy shirt and outfit to wear for special occasions.
This is just the shirt and really simple but recognizable. It's great for a convention or big event.

A Cosplayer's Fix Up Nightmare! UGH
Listen up people. Listen up for anyone who is serious about cosplay or even costuming for Halloween. Okay, so I bought this to get ready for a convention in June. I always prepare early because I'm a poor, broke person who cant even afford to feed my self every week. Which is a problem because...yes..I am a cosplayer. I love to dress up and go meet people and have fun. I decided to buy this as a fixer upper. I was going to add the gold trimming on the shoulder seams like in the movie. And when I found out the pendant was an iron on I thought "Oh, well this will be easy! I'll just remove it with rubbing alcohol. [insert happy face here for the moment]"

Runs big and the stitched in black shirt is unnecessary

Pleasantly surprised
I was a little leary about ordering this due to some of the reviews, but since the price dropped, I decided I could take the chance. Now, this review is from a female fan's perspective; I am actually satisfied with my product. I am reviewing my particular shirt, not every single one out there and do realize there can be some flukes out there. The pros: the pattern on the shirt looks great and the material is strong and thick, very durable unlike half the costumes I've seen in other stores. The color is accurate and although the pin detail leaves more to be desired, the sleeve stripes look top-notch. The collar is indeed v-shaped and stitched tightly and suitably in place without any flaws. Putting it on, I found it comfortable and actually flattering on me despite it being a man's shirt. The shirt was a tad big but not in any way that would detract from its appeal. The cons: they aren't huge problems to me considering I have both a mother and sister who sew; the body of the shirt is a tad long on me as well as the sleeves. Again, these aren't real issues to me since they can be fixed very easily. With that in mind, I feel the money I paid is worth it for the product I received: a brand-new, high-quality costume shirt. In the end, I am very happy with my purchase and I am considering buying the other colors Rubie's has to offer.

Long sleeves, seller communication is poor
Sleeves are very long, tried to contact seller and Amazon has no way to contact them. I posted a question for seller, got no response. I went to website and contacted them, still no response. A little unprofessional but good value for money.

Interesting
Has an interesting fit for XL, the arms are too big, but the middle seems almost a slight too small, but it's a little long. The neck has this black price that pretty much turns it into a turtle neck. Not honestly impressed with this.

Good value for the price
The item arrived as described. I ordered the XL. It fits a bit big, the arms were a bit long. I washed it and dried it immediately and it shrank a bit which was good for me. It's a good Star Trek shirt for a very reasonable price.

Poor fit and appearance, returned item.
Arrived on time and in decent packaging, but the product was a terrible fit and looked horrendous. If you're not fussed at all or just need the costume for a one-time party you don't care about then I could recommend it (although still a little overly pricey for that), but as someone wanting to look nice AND a bit fun on Halloween it was a bad purchase. It's not exactly uncomfortable material but just tailored awfully resulting in a bin-bag looking fit. Shoulders poor and drooping, neckline saggy and weird, print looks dull, cuffs loose, etc. Not only that but it was frayed in places. HOWEVER the seller was incredibly easy to deal with when returning the product and getting a refund so I must compliment that at least.
