Somewhat disappointed.
The quality is certainly much better than the 'deluxe', which from what I saw in stores tends to be - and most importantly looks - poorly-printed and with misaligned patterns. But as much as this one is better than the "deluxe", I did expect it to be better than what it is. The photo makes it look fantastic, which is the point of these photos I suppose, but in reality it still looks somewhat cheap. And for a $50-$100 costume (depending on the current sale), I expected better. The blue is a nice color, I don't think they were too off from the photo. However, the bands at the cuff aren't a plain, even sheen like in the photo. They're more like the texture from the TOS costumes, without the wavy cut. The seam lines at the shoulders and neck aren't as thick as in the photo, though I did get the small, so that may be a factor. On the plus side, it does come with a full black, long-sleeve shirt to wear underneath. It's about the same size/weight as the blue shirt. The pin, however is plastic... and not a nice shiny plastic that could possibly pass for metal. It's plain gray, matte finish, and the insignia is painted on it in blue... it isn't cut out. I can't say a whole lot on the fit. I'm a relatively slim woman, so I don't fill it out like a guy would, so ladies, this might be more helpful for you. My measurements are 32 28 36. I ordered the small. The sleeves were naturally much too wide/big and long enough to cover my knuckles. The torso was, of course, quite baggy on me. I'd consider getting it tailored to fit better. All in all, I'm underwhelmed and, unless you got a decent deal on it, I'd say it would be better to save your money and use it to help pay for the authentic replica. They're about twice the price of this one, so why not?

Size right on, quality just so-so
After reading some other reviews here, I decided to take a chance on the XL. As a man that usually wears 2XL t-shirts, I was hoping that the reviews were accurate and it would fit larger than the size would indicate. It did not. It fit as I would expect an XL shirt to fit on my frame, which is snug. Fortunately the material is stretchy, so it will work. I can't fault the product since it fits as expected for an XL, but be warned if you are expecting it to be much larger than that. The quality is acceptable for a Halloween costume. As others have indicated the photos make it appear better than it really is. Mine had white tufts of some stuffing like material at the collar seams. The badge is very cheap plastic, I replaced it with one of the better metal badges. The under shirt is made of the same material as the uniform shirt. Overall, I probably wouldn't have paid the price they wanted for the shirt if I had run across it in the store.

Fast shipping
Faster then posted on delivery. But size runs bigger then chart. My standard 46 to 48 chest is XL. But this XL I can get 3 arms into at once. Way to long and lose fitting. Says ok to return. Sending back tomorrow

Great but consider getting two sizes smaller if your slim
Great quality. As you may have read before the size is way of. I lift weights and so I have about a medium waist but a large chest. For costumes this can be hard for me having to normally go for a large and tailor it down in the waist. I tried a medium of this shirt but was way to baggy. I went with a small and fits just right, snug. (32 pant waist size 44 chest)

Cheap materials traded for removable badge not worth it, the Standard version is better.
Cheap material, not the same as the Standard or Deluxe but worse, looks like cheap lycra. The badge is cheap white plastic & not even accurate- they could have made it silver plastic. The rank stripe armbands are cheap silver ribbon when they could have done them as silver iron on style like the badges on the Standard costumes. The stitching where the piping meets the neck was so out f place it stuck out & ruined the line of the neck. All out a waste of money. The only reason to get this was the lack of a attached badge so you could use an authentic badge pin but this thing is not worth pinning an authentic badge on it.

Be wary of warehouse deals
The quality of the product is fine. It’s probably not worth the retail list price though. I purchased a warehouse item. I gave it only one star, because it was missing the Star Trek badge, which is a very important accessory to complete the look. This item should have been listed as “acceptable” with an even lower price. I had to purchase a replacement metal badge from ebay. I’ve been finding the condition on warehouse items to be quite misleading on a number of recent purchases.

Ridiculous sizes mine would have buried a Giant.
Terrible item, I normally take a standard L size, the one sent must have been XXXL very poor quality as well. Avoid.

The quality is cheaper than it appears in the picture: - the bars on the sleeves are of a poor quality. - the picture gives the impression of texture, but the pattern is flat. - It came with a full black long-sleeve shirt to wear underneath. - The photo makes it look fantastic, but for 90$+, I expected better than this. The plastic pin was missing from the package. I'll have to get one to replace it which was not expected. All in all, I'm underwhelmed and will not make the mistake to purchase replicas on the web.
