A sturdier shoe than I first thought

Don't let the lightness of the Ryka Women's Trailhead Hiking Boot fool you. I purchased mine for life on our small holding. I was worried about it being too light-weight a shoe to do hard work in but the sole of the shoe really is built for uneven surfaces, stones, and grass. It grips surfaces well and is heavy duty enough to take punishment from using a shovel. Inside the shoe is soft, unlike the leather shoes I've worn in the past. Only time will tell if it holds up to the punishment of tending animals, gardening, and yard work. So far I am very pleased and only gave it 4 stars because I haven't worn them long enough to judge their durability.

Chunky but so comfy

The comfort is 100% for sure, but have to style them right to be cute. They’re kind of “puffy” looking to me but I do get a lot of compliments on them and I love the iridescent stripe. The comfort is so worth getting over my own styling woes, though so I recommend if you’re on your feet a lot!

Very stiff and uncomfortable

I have ordered several Ryka products and love them for their "no break-in" comfort. This was extremely stiff and started to rub a blister on my heel within seconds of wearing it.
