Almost great

Playpens are not just playpens anymore. This playpen has options that work from infancy to toddler. It's well built and convenient in our den for our granddaughter. It's easy enough to pack up and take to extended functions when we need a safe play spot, napping spot, and changing table. It's easy to set up and rolls around as needed to watch her. (We have an "open" floor plan.) Instructions to open the playpen are printed on the bottom of the mat. The top has to be opened and locked in place before the bottom. The cradle and the changing table snap on the top rail and can swing out the way when needed. But this is where I have an issue with this unit. They both are very tight and difficult to snap because of the padded rail. I see where the padding will submit to this unnecessary wear, tearing and ripping as we install and remove these accessories. On the canopy for the cradle the company addressed this issue by sewing in large slits (like button holes) in the rail padding so that the canopy can snap on the rail directly. It's a huge oversight that this was not addressed for the cradle and changing table. I'm not sure how we will address this issue going forward, maybe just being vigilant of the wear on the padding before it rips or tears. So close to perfect, but not.

A bit frustrating

First thing to mention is I despise the color???? I thought it was bown and beige but its definitely purple and beige. The pictures in the ad do not do justice for its true color. The materials are super soft and it feels very sturdy. It's extremely heavy. The crib itself was easy to set up. My issue is setting up the changing mat and bassinet was so difficult. You can see in my pictures where I was really struggling to get the pipes connected. Then when I tried to take them apart I could not and they wouldn't fit in the travel bag. I did not set up the elevated mattress, but its included. I like the leather stitching on the sides. Overall this is definitely high quality. It's similar to a 400$ one I've used, but much better price.

I like the color combination

This pack n play arrives in a big, heavy box. There is a sticker on mine that says 30lbs, so just be aware if sending this to someone. This model includes a changing table that folds out of the way to allow access to the bassinet. There is also a bassinet on the top that can be removed as baby grows. The top bassinet saves your back when baby is a newborn. Remove it when baby is going to be rolling over soon. Remove the hanging bassinet when baby is about 8 months, or sitting and could flip out of it. The sheets for pack n plays are called Mini Crib Sheets and fit nicely. You could ad a touch of color by picking a cute sheet set. Mobiles don't work with pack n plays because their hook up is flat and the posts on pack n plays is round. You could use one until baby starts pulling on it, because it will pull off. This crib is great because it folds away when no longer needed and baby can sleep in the bottom or use it as a playpen until a few years old

So nice!

The Safety First Deluxe play pen is so nice! I wish I had one this nice when my other three kids were growing up. It's built sturdy, very easy to assemble & pack up. I love all of the extras that come with this. Makes changing the baby, or laying her down for a nap, so much easier. Especially when she's up and playing. It gives her a safe space to play in, where I do not have to worry every second. I would absolutely recommend this playpen to others!

One of the best on the market

This is a true hybrid pack and play with many options. Setting it up is breeze and it’s light enough where even my wife can do it without breaking a sweat. With a baby on the way this is going to work excellent for setting it up in any room I need it in.

Strong and sturdy

I dont always love when pack n plays are heavy (and this one is) or hard to put together.. But for this one I think its great considering its purpose. This pack n play take some muscles to assemble, but is doable. The hardest part is clipping on the bassinet and changing pad. BUT thats because when you are not using them they can just flip to the side... so its a good thing they are so solid IMO because it means they are secure and your baby won't fall since they are designed to move.
