Very Tight Lid
Cup purchased for gentleman, 84 yes of age w Parkinsons w Aides who care for him. It is simple for him to drink from. However, Aides have problem as lid on cup is so tight it is difficult to snap on and I, his wife, is unable to get it on at all. That is reason for only 4.

Mug with spouted lid
I ordered these mugs for my 90 year old mother-in-law . She needed to have something lightweight and covered so she wouldn't spill her coffee. This worked out perfect for her. I hand wash them as I don't have a dishwasher and they seem to be holding up nicely. The reason for the 4 star review is the handle is closely placed to the cup and I would have liked more room.

Came with a cracked lid. Bummed.
Well, first off, the lid came with a crack on the side, so it doesn't fit as tightly as it should, and the crack will undoubtedly get worse with use, until the lid is totally useless. I will try to glue it to see if that helps but it probably won't. I couldn't find any place to contact Amazon about it, so I'm just leaving a poor review instead. Which probably won't get me a new lid, but at least I get to say my peace. :/ Other than that, the mug is small and lightweight. It works okay. The handle isn't very comfortable, but I like the longer spout length and the wider-than-usual hole in the spout (most other spouts have much smaller holes) because it works well for thicker liquids like soups, smoothies, and Nectar-thick drinks. That's why I bought it, not for using with a recumbent patient. Would I buy another? Probably, but the cracked lid is a real concern. Hopefully it's a fluke, and not a design or manufacturing flaw.

Great for elderly patients
I gave this cup 5 stars, but only 2 showed up. I bought 2 of these cups. My husband has had 2 strokes since November 2019. He’s now in a nursing home. He can’t walk and probably never will. He couldn’t hold the cups they use for drinks. He would either sit there with no water or spill it all over himself. These cups work fantastic. He can grip the handle and I can put a straw in the spout. I set it on his table by his bed and he can reach it with no problems.

Dad with Parkinson's happy with the cup!
My father has tremors due to his Parkinson's hence my decision to buy the weighted cup. It was indeed a weighted cup and was built sturdy. My father can carry the cup without the fear of emptying the contents on him. The only thing that is making my father unhappy is that the hole for sipping is just too small. So he refrains from using the cover. All in all he is satisfied with the product and is using it as often as he can!

Great stuff!
I like this product very much. I was looking for a weighted cup to put on the couch with my tea while I watch TV and work on my laptop. This one fits the bill to the 't'. The lid also helps keep the stuff in instead of sloshing all over. A few notes. The hole for sipping looks a little unfinished, there is a small piece of plastic covering the hole. Looks like during finishing the product, it wasn't cut all the way. Not a big deal but certainly looks unprofessional. Would have liked more color options, specially if more then one is being used in the same house. I wrapped colored rubber bands on the handle to differentiate between the two I have. Overall, I am very pleased with the product.

A great find!
This mug is great. Now the disabled person we bought it for can drink like he used to without a straw. The straw was causing him to aspirate too often. He loves the weight of this mug and the handle works for him even though he has big hands. It seems to be insulated well and the top is not easy to get off and on, so it SHOULD stay on if it falls. Our CNA nurse loved it so much she had us order 2 more for other elderly clients of hers.
