This is like clear paint with silver glitter pieces already in it. I like to use it to paint over a base color and the clear paint does not change the base coat color (unless you REPEATEDLY and PURPOSELY go over it again and again with force). Can you tell I’m a teacher? The glitter pieces are all uniform in size and are very sparkly. Once dry, small particles of the glitter come off easily on your hands or anything you lay it on, but not enough to take away from the sparkle of the overall art work. However, if you didn’t want any of the glitter to come off at all, you would need to use a sealant (mod Podge or the like) as the last coat. My 1st graders loved that the “magical sparkles” got on their hands...but I’m not sure how their parents felt about it. I love it and use it often! What’s life without a little sparkle!

I used the silver glitter paint for a body-positive photo shoot. It would be a great eye-catching top coat over signs & art projects -it has a clear base with opaque silver glittery bits evenly distributed. The bottle is safety/ spill sealed and has an easy to use flip open top. The bottle shape with thicker edges at the top & bottom (similar to a barbell) help prevent drops, even with messy paint covered hands. Cleans up easy -even off furniture. Great buy if you want to add a bit of bling to make your project pop -without loosing the colors, art or words underneath.

This is not silver paint. It is clear translucent gel base with glitter particles suspended in it. Not as described.
