Looks and feels like real linen but is polyester!! We ordered the correct table length - I like the fact that the runner goes to the edges of the table but not over it. If you prefer the runner to go over the edges then you would need to order a size longer than the table. I prefer it not to go over the edges - it makes it easier for people sitting at the ends of the table! Easy to clean and looks great!!
