Looks good, but a little wobbly

I like the look, and it is good value for the money, but there is too much free play for my liking, so removing one star

Excellent Quality

These are great handles. They look beautiful and were simple to install. They operate more smoothly than our previous hardware. Unfortunately, I had to route out the door for the trim plate since the round-style did not fit the previously drilled hole but I don't think Schlage is at fault here. Just be aware that you may have to do some work if you have a mobile home hardware without trim plates on the door side.

Handy no key door locked departure

A decent economical replacement of a worn out lock set and matching dead bolt on cabin front entry door. There are install and usage concerns. INSTALL - be sure your previous deadbolt accurately and easily engages into the deadbolt jamb plate and door frame without any binding. The electronic deadbolt will not function properly under battery power. This concern is mentioned in the packaged instructions. Correctly aligning /adjusting the lock set throw bar to engage and hold the door in it's jamb plate can ease keeping the deadbolt centered into it's jamb plate. Once all aligned, do not slam the door. USAGE - the rubber buttons can hang up in the openings creating confusion using the deadbolt ... yours and the electronic operation. It can be difficult to tell if the deadbolt battery drive motor is in the locking or unlocking sequence. The built in outside port for stand by transistor battery power to the deadbolt is a good feature. It's a neat lock for the price, and I like the "no key required to lockup" feature. Security rating? Still operating on original lithium batteries, six months non daily routine cabin use. Good Luck

Matte Black Looks Awesome

Updated all the doors and hardware to matte black. Used these for the levers throughout. They look awesome and we get lots of compliments on them. Note they are truly matte black and NOT oil rubbed bronze listed as black like many others seem to be.

Handle too short.

The handle on this lock is too short. It's a nice cylindrical shape that is comfortable to the hand, but the comfort is reduced by how short the handle is. Too bad because the lock is beautiful. I will try to find out if Schlage makes this model with a longer handle. Will return this one.

Very sturdy, elegant, well built

I was impressed by the solid build when I first opened the box. Installation was very easy at my front door. The mechanism is butter smooth and closes perfectly at the slightest push of the door. It looks great as well.

Good and solid product

It’s exactly what I expected and does it’s job. I need to install to match the other one on the other side of the door, and this is the closest one I could find.

Part missing

This dummy (non turning) handle matches the bright chrome I installed on my bathroom door but unfortunately the back plate is not included which I needed for my linen and storage closets. I was able to work around this using an old knob's back half but was disappointed that all the parts I needed weren't there. I was able to purchase the flat back plate to fill the hole. Make sure you know what type of door you will be installing this on.

Sleek and sharp

I orginally got the privacy levers for my bathroom because with hand sanitizer, opening knobs was becoming challenging. Of course once you change one door, you have to change them all! This also solved a problem I had with the external doors all being keyed differently and not knowing who had extra copies of keys. Upon arrival...which was faster than I expected...I took the levers to be rekeyed at a local locksmith prior to installation. I was able to install them myself that afternoon. One door was actually drilled to a different size than the others, but the levers were adjustable for that to my relief. I don't mind having to use the key to lock from the outside since I need to use it for the deadbolt anyway, and it prevents you from accidentally locking yourself out.
