I love these for sweet wines and porto

I love these for sweet wines and porto. Finally, the shape of a glass I was looking for. Great design. 4 stars only because they feel kind of cheap in my hand but that is definitely very subjective. That is most probably due to improved abrasive wear and chipping resistant material. Beyond that I like them a lot :)

Weird stems—otherwise great.

Echoing previous reviews (that I didn’t read before buying), the stems of these are weird. They are square with sharp edges and a single indent for your thumb. Other than the stems, they are among the nicer sherry/port glasses that I have used. We kept them but I can’t quite recommend them.

Just right for port wine.

Very nice looking crystal port glasses. The stem has a bump out to help you find the right place to hold the glass. Designed for a good nose with your port.

Perfect port glass. not shatter proof!

This is the perfect design for a port glass. I think I drank a '94 vintage from an identical glass at IDVP in Porto a few years ago. I've been looking for this for a while--the squared stem with thumb divot, the wider base, the right size and shaped bowl. I was looking online at Tritan plastic versions because I needed wine glasses to take on long off-road trip, camping. While this is a great design for fortified wines, it's not shatterproof and you'll need to treat it like any crystal wine glass. Not sure how Tritan is part of this thing but it can break; it can shatter. It's glass.

like all the Schott Zwiesel products I've purchased

I purchased these as a gift, but I might need to buy a set for myself as I was instantly jealous on unboxing. They are, like all the Schott Zwiesel products I've purchased, very high-quality and elegant. The thumb rest was a bit of an intrigue to the recipient (and really, myself), but didn't detract from the 30-yr tawny we poured for a test drive. It was especially nice to be able to put them in the dishwasher after, though to really avoid waterspots a final hand rinse seems unavoidable.

Beautiful crystal, high quality glasses with excellent design

Bought these for a friend that likes Port. They are appropriately sized, stable on their base, very pretty and clear crystal, durable despite being extremely thin, and I love the little notch in them to encourage you to hold them correctly! They are a pleasure to drink from and are obviously of very high quality.

The glasses arrived used and not the same shape. Very disappointed especially since I have to pay for the return. Would not recommend.

Very nice glasses; minor quality control issues.

First shipment: Stems round, not quadrilateral and lacking dimple. Glasses of poor quality. For example, the bowl on two of the glasses is off centre, one very much so. Items returned and to be replaced. Replacement: Glasses as expected. Very nice design. Unfortunately, one has a small bubble 1" from the top and two more have very slight scratches. You have to look hard to see the scratches, so, really there is only one glass that is not quite of the quality that I would like.
