The in-mold polycarbonate microshell delivers lightweight durability. Thermoformed interior fit pads wick away moisture for superior comfort. Padding can be removed and washed. Plus, 17 air vents provide cooling comfort on hot rides. Upgrade your ride with the Bunker ERT helmet by Schwinn.

Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older. Micro-adjustable dial retention system provides a secure fit; side and chin straps allow the wearer to fine tune the fit, Pivoting visor with extended coverage provides superior protection from sun, wind, and rain. Nice helmet
Very light and comfortable helmet. Straps and dial on the back make it very easy to adjust the fit. Really nice so far.

Great
Great product

Excellent helmet, but keep in mind that the sizes run a bit small.
The size is just a bit small, I ordered large for normal 7 3/8, should have ordered extra large. Other than that, it appears to be well made and much better than some I have seen in stores.

It actually fits 63cm or 7-7/8”!
Specifically the green one only! Look at all of the sizing info! Fit is about what I would expect otherwise.

NICE HELMUT BUT MISSING A TRUE SAFETY RATING
The Schwinn Medium Bunker ERT helmet is ideal for non aggressive mountain bike riding, kick scooters or recreational rollerblading and is designed to fit a head circumference: 20.87"-23.23", 53-59cm The integrated polycarbonate micro-shell delivers lightweight durability; 17 air vents allow for flow-through ventilation while using in warmer climates but in colder climates your head can become rather cold. Schwinn should think about designing a nylon protective cover (shell) that velcros to the exterior of the helmet to block wind and rain in nastier climates . The Bunker features Energy Reduction Technology (ERT) - waffle shaped pads that flex in multiple directions absorbing multiple impact types; removable interior fit pads wick away moisture and can be washed. The problem I see is with the certifications. It is rated CYA CPSC 070SB. What does CYA CPSC 070SB mean? CPSC is the Consumer Safety Products Commission. They have specific standards for various types of helmets for different type activities. Here are a few: Bicycling, Kick Scooter Riding, Roller and In-line Skating – Recreational, Bicycle riding should have one or more of these Classifications ASTM F1447, F18981; Snell B-90A, B-95, N-942; CPSC Personal Transport Device Riding,Electric Personal Assistive Mobility Devices ASTM 2416 (or one certified to both CPSC and ASTM F1492) Moped Riding, Motorized Bicycling4 and Powered Scooter Riding4 Snell L-98, M-2005, M-2010, CMS/CMR 20073; DOT FMVSS 218 My biggest question is... what kind of impact will this helmet take? It states it is made of a tough integrated polycarbonate outer shell and a high density EPS foam liner. Well I guess it's better than nothing on your head but it doesn't have the technologies as the leading manufactures have such as MIPS(Multi-directional Impact Protection System). And again, how much force will it take to prevent your brain from becoming scrambled? It has Micro-adjustable dial retention system provides a secure fit; side and chin straps allow the wearer to fine tune the fit. It has a Pivoting visor with extended coverage to provide superior protection from sun, wind, and rain. With exception to the lack of committing to an actual safety standard, I think it is a nice helmet over all. The finish is a nice flat black and will not gouge easily like a foam helmet. I liked the fit but I am sure your head may get cold or wet if using it in bad weather. If it had a true safety rating I would have rated it higher. In my world CYA would mean COVER YOUR ASSETS!
