I love this product. It's great for keeping art pieces centered in frames and I don't have to worry about it ruining the art. Arrived very fast.

You'll need to make some effort if you want it done right

The tape is a little more clear than regular Scotch tape, but a little thinner and more difficult to utilize. The tape will pick up fingerprints, and the cut lines from the teeth on the cutter remain visible after you place the tape, so for best results you'll want to cut with scissors. But it is nice to have a dispenser, unlike many other book repair tapes, not only for ease of use, but to protect the tape edges.

Acid-free and safe for archival use

I have a lot of record albums and sometimes the jacket seams split. With older, uncoated paper products, acid is a real problem 0 it can lead to further degradation of the paper or age-spotting on white portions. 3M acid-free tape is perfect for repairs on old record jackets because it holds beautifully and won't attack the paper. It's a great tool to have in any paper-goods repair arsenal.

Great Tape for Journaling!

I used to use gift wrapping tape to tape things into my journal, but I noticed it discoloring some of the flowers I tape in and reacting oddly with certain printed materials like receipts. I decided to switch tapes, and I haven’t had any problems with this one so far. I hope it continues to hold up.

Too glossy for repairing pages in an old book. Somehow I thought this tape was matte instead of glossy.
