The best packing tape by far.

Box Lock tape is super-sticky and strong; it holds well and stays sealed; it doesn’t strip, shred, or rip while on the roll; and, it’s silent when in-use/unraveling (no obnoxious screeching or scratching sounds!). I believe it’s truly worth the slightly higher price. One, maybe two, strips of this tape equals the strength and security of multiple strips of any other packing tape. This is my favorite packing tape. If the box you’re shipping is important, and/or you tend to overuse packing tape because it never feels like it’ll hold up to the possibility of a postal worker kick-dropping the package from the top of a three-story building—this tape is definitely for you.

Silent AND Sticky!

I feel like this is a major innovation in packing tape. The Scotch sure start is just not sticky enough for some boxes, but this is. It's so great to have a packing tape that isn't loud and full of vibration as it is dispensed. I use packing tape every day.

A bit disappointed

I tape boxes for a living and I was looking for something to use at home. I was a bit disappointed in this tape. It is really thick, which in my experience can cause trouble in shipping due to the fact that it is stiffer. I still haven't tested this tape thoroughly, though, but am worried that even if it seems to be adhering well at first, it could come off easily during transit. I can't say that this tape is bad--but I definitely prefer thinner tape for packing.

Rubbery feel

This is finally the tape I was looking for. They call it quiet or something like that, I have found a few different ones but this stuff is good. It has, like I said a rubbery feel to it when it's coming off the roller, not the crackle of the other ones.

Its scotch

Have used a few ft already for shipping boxes and its easy to use and dispense. It doesnt tear easily. when the packages arrive next weel we'll see if they held up well.

Much better than the competitors

The problem with the competing stuff is that it doesn’t come off the roll easily, making tape guns jam. This plus the OG Scotch brand gun make for happy packing. Trashed the other gun, good riddance.
