DIRECTIONS: Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 80 L (20 US gallons). Rapid clarification will follow (1–2 hours). In the case of chemical or particulate clouding clean filter floss or cartridge after tank clears. If clouding persists, change your fine mechanical filtration media several times before dosing more clarity. USE: When Clarity is added to the water, you will see a cloudy haze begin to form. This should be expected and means that Clarity is beginning to work. For optimal performance, Clarity must be used in conjunction with a fine mechanical filtration media such as filter floss. MULTI-USE: Clarity is the only clarifier on the market that does it all. Clarity contains both precipitating and flocculating components in the same bottle that will clear and clean all types of cloudiness in all environments. REEF AND PLANT SAFE: Clarity contains an advanced polymeric flocculating agent that is both reef and plant safe. CLARIFIER: Clarity is the ultimate clarifier for both fresh and saltwater tanks. Clarity will help clear all types of clouding.

Amazing!
This product is amazing! It clears up my water within a few hours. It gets very cloudy when you first put it in. This means it’s working! Don’t worry about it. I have a 65 gallon tank, and I use it as directed. Works very well every time. It also doesn’t seem to have any kind of a negative affect on my fish! Also a huge plus.

This stuff is honestly amazing. Used it to clear up my tank after adding black flourite
I'm setting up a brand new tank currently so there isn't much in it aside from a filter and Seachem Black Flourite. The reason I bought the Clarify is to clear the water after adding the black florite. It was so cloudy and dusty I couldn't see through it. I added the clarify and within 24hrs the water is perfectly clear again.

It does not work as quickly as it claims.

Be patient and be careful
The media could not be loaded. Great product. Just be sure to use half of the recommended amount as it can potentially be lethal to your fish as some species are more sensitive than others. You will have to wait a bit longer for the product to take full effect due to this, so keep that in mind. It can take anywhere from a few days, to a few weeks. In my case, it didn’t clear up my water up until 2 weeks after I had used it. The water in my tank was always cloudy even after weekly water changes and I couldn’t get it to be crystal clear, which was very frustrating. I am also aware that the size of my tank should be bigger (I will upgrade as soon as I can) and was definitely a huge factor towards my water quality being less than ideal, so I definitely took that into account before even considering giving this product any kind of review. Wish I had a before video of my tank to show how bad it was, just know it works well if you use it carefully and are patient. Very pleased with this product, my goldfish tank (the dirtiest tank with the cloudiest water because of how messy goldfish tend to be) is now looking good!

Excellent product!
After decades using Seachem it was the very first time I had an issue with a single product. The bottle arrived damaged and the product leaked. I tried to contact Seachem directly but their customer service was miserable. Amazon solved the issue in a few seconds my replacing the product. Anyway, I still give 5 stars because Seachem, even with a mediocre customer service, always had far superior quality products. It may be more expensive, but it's a price to pay for quality and you get what you're paying for. The Seachem Clarity is an spectacular product, it works like no other, however, it's necessary to dose it very carefully because the product is extremely concentrated. I believe the directions are based on "worst case scenario" (and it works on horrible situations). for overall cloudiness, reduce the dose dramatically and you'll have wonderful results without the milky water other reviewers mentioned. Other Seachem product i use and love is the Pristine and also the fish food. Nothing compares to Seachem quality. I DON'T HAVE ANY COMMERCIAL RELATION WITH SEACHEM AND DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY COMPENSATION OR FREE PRODUCT IN EXCHANGE FOR THIS REVIEW.

Worked, eventually
My 20l tank had gone cloudy after putting new gravel in. I had washed it twice before putting it in but the water had still gone cloudy. I have constantly had issues with water quality since setting my tank up in March so it probably wasn’t the only thing contributing to the cloudiness. I’ve been doing approx 20-25% water change every day and using the water clarifier every day. Although there was a slight improvement the water soon went cloudy again and I was wondering whether it was actually going to work. On day 5 now (haven’t done a change or dosed today) and finally my water is a lot clearer. Saw a noticeable difference from about day 3. Fish seem a lot happier too and more active. So I would recommend this product but only giving it 4 stars rather than 5 as it didn’t work instantly for me. Could well be other issues in my tank though so if your tank is normally clear and fully cycled etc then I’m sure it would work more quickly. To be honest I’m just pleased it has worked in the end.

Disappointing
Usually love anything by seachem but found this very disappointing. I don't normally suffer with a cloudy tank but used to use aqua care crystal clear after every water change just so those disturbed little bits clumped together and my water stayed nice and clear. This however, is like blowing smoke in to your water and takes days to clear. Almost to the point of being time for another water change rendering it useless. I have found putting half a cap in to my 250l tank is a lot better which is way less than the reccomended dosage. I'll be going back to aqua care. A shame as I love their other products prime, flourish etc

Not too sure
I just got a new tank, Aquael 60l with it’s own 300 filter. I transferred my fishes from the old tank with the existing tank water to the new tank and it has been 2 weeks now they are doing pretty well, except the water is cloudy so I bought this product. It says 5ml per 80l, I only put 2.5ml in my 60l tank. The liquid is orange and as soon as I put this stuff in the water becomes even more cloudy. I believe this will then cleared by the filter and my tank will be clean. But I waited for 2 hours nothing happened and my fishes are open their mouth and breathing rapidly. I was scared so I did a water change and this helped my fishes to breath normally again. But my water is still cloudy. Not sure if it is because my filter is not efficient enough?

Listen Up!
I was very skeptical about this product as I don't believe they work but after having a cloudy tank, and doing a lot of research into what it could be and finding NO explanation into what it could be, I decided to use this product. I can tell you after adding in the correct measurements to my tank the next day it was like I had completed a partial water change. Im thrilled. I now have this on subscription and will be using it regularly. Thank you so much for making such a delightful, reliable product.

Didn’t work
Sadly I have to say this didn’t work for us. I dosed it daily as suggested on their website (at recommended dose) for 5 days straight and the photos above are before and after (the same). I think the issue is a bacterial bloom, the water levels are all fine. Have a Juwel filter with a 1000l/hr powerhead for a 240l tank with activated carbon (Carbax). Given this product says it’ll fix “all forms of cloudiness” I had high hopes which have sadly not been borne out
