Smaller then previous "Large" models

The mouth cup is relatively the same size as the 6000 series but the straps are considerably shorter especially around the neck. I dunno when they are gonna wakeup and realize some people are over 6ft tall and have larger faces then this, I can barely get it on my nose if I wear it properly and have to end up resting it on my chin IMPROPERLY to get a seal around my nose. Fit's men of average/medium build between 5'7-6ft but large muscular necks or big tall burly types you're outta luck here guys. Still better then nothing so I use it improperly but maaaan those neck straps cut off circulation from how short they made them. Stick with the 6000 series they are the the best overall until they made improvements on these 800s. Airflow however is FAR superior to previous generations and you can work up a sweat and still be breathing normal with these.

Best current 3M haft face respirator!

This is the new, more superior version of 3M haft face respirator and after using it continuously, everyday for more than a month, I absolutely love it! Here's why. 1/ Way easier to breath. I usually wear respirator for hours and my other respirator forced my lung to work so much harder (even with clean filters) than normal because air only comes in 2 ways. Sometime i got dizzy standing up straight after doing labor work for some time. That does not happen with this one. This respirator not only has 4 ways for air to come in, but bigger air intake openings as well! 2/ People can now hear me talk! With old respirator, people can hardly hear what i said behind the mask, only low volume, mumbling sound that's hard to understand. To conversate, i have to undo the mask to talk, which is a little bit inconvenient. With this one with the built-in diaphragm, i can now talk normally with mask on and people can hear me well. 3/ Easy and intuitive way to attach filters. With old respirator, i have to line up the filter's opening and twist it to lock. Few times i twisted it in wrong direction and it already messed it up the plastic connection. With this, that becomes so easy. Just push it in until you hear a click and that's it! 4/ Checking airtight seal around your face is now a bit easier. Just pushed the big front center button, breathe in to check and that's it! Overall, i would definitely buy this again over any other haft-face respirator and you should too!

Not worth the money, i spray cabinets and this does not work

This is not the mask to use if you are spraying any kind of paint or dealing with any chemicals, there is no charcoal filter so you will inhale everything

Fantastic respirator, no major complaints, best on the market (that I know of!)

This mask is leagues better than the previous generation of 3M's line, for three main reasons: * The secure-click for putting a cartridge in is both far easier to use than the older twist-in style and also completely fool-proof for ensuring the cartridge is properly seated. * The push button to check the seal quality an incredible improvement over previous models, where you had to get your hands just right and even then, it was hopeful, because you ended up putting enough pressure on the cartridges to possibly created a better seal for the duration of the test. The push button requires negligible pressure to check the seal, so false positives should be a thing of the past. * You can DEFinitely project your voice better with this one. When reading up on this model I thought, 'eh, the other benefits sound awesome, so I'm in, but this clearer-voice claim is probably just an added marketing ploy.' Nope. There's a drastic difference in voice clarity compared to previous models. In addition to the above, it's a very comfortable mask, maybe slightly morseo than previous models, an I felt those were comfortable enough already. One 'complaint' - there's no quick-release option for this new wave (or I'm not aware of one if there is). This mask really isn't difficult to take off, thanks to the elastic head straps. However, the quick-latch feature from the previous model was a sweet benefit, especially when taking it off and letting it hang from your neck for a short bit - it left plenty of room. If you do that with this one, it's pretty much low-key strangling you. I think the cartridge costs are comparable between the old versions and these new click types, but even if the new are more expensive, I would buy this model in a heartbeat again. And I will, since instead of swapping cartridges I like one mask for Particles and one for Organic Vapor. The combo cartridges are just too uneconomical, and in my shop there's only one of the other danger present at any given time. BUY THIS.

a bit bulkier, much easier breathing than predecessor

The two-sided filters have much less air resistance. Coming from a 7503 (Large) to this Large, the face seal appears to be the exact same height, but the 7503 material is blue and seems softer. This is still a very nice tan seal but it seems harder and there's an accordian pleat added to the nose for physical compliance. The voice diaphram is a great idea but I can't tell you how well it works yet. I never minded the twist on filters, so the click doesn't thrill me. The front button to test the mask seal is very positive, but I'm not sure the area where the mask meets the filter is part of the suction test. We lose the ability to put P95 prefilters in front of the expensive cartridges, but at the end of the day (and I wore the 7503 during the pandemic in a hot environment for six-hour shifts) the easy flow is a winner.
