Requires 2.4ghz wifi set to at least g+n

I'm sure with Smart devices there's a lot of chance for misconfiguration of network design, and I had trouble getting these to work at first. They REQUIRE 2.4ghz wifi, and I have a TP-Link router running dd-wrt, with my 2.4ghz set to "N-Only". They just wouldn't finish the connection during the process and tell you to reset and retry. I switched my 2.4ghz wifi to do G+N protocols and then ran the setup process again and they all connected fine. So yeah, make sure you've got a 2.4ghz wifi network on your router and don't limit it to N-only, and you might have better luck.

Functional smart bulb

Not sure if it’s the Alexa’s fault or the bulbs, but very rarely they’ll just go offline. It happens VERY rarely, and it’s not a hard fix, usually just turn off and on the bulbs and they’ll function normally again. The setup is simple, just download Sengled app, pair it to the bulb, then if you have an Alexa go into the Alexa app and add the skill in the settings menu. I have had problems with some bulbs that I’ve tried to add, but eventually after a few tries I got them paired normally. The color wheel is available in the Amazon Alexa app, and once you have the bulbs synced with Alexa you’ll never need to use the Sengled app. Integration is excellent. I’ve been phasing the bulbs in as my old ones go out (not in all rooms of course, but some), and they appear just as long lasting as any other bulb. All have worked and have been working for a long time now (first purchased over a year ago, maybe longer). All in all they’re excellent functioning wifi bulbs, and with a pack of two being well priced there are no real complaints.

Love it, no hub required

I recently purchased a Sengled smart bulb and I must say, I'm impressed with its performance. The bulb came with a number of features that have made my life easier and more convenient. One of the standout features of this smart bulb is that it doesn't require a hub to get started. All I had to do was connect the bulb to my 2.4 Wi-Fi GHz network using the Sengled home app, and I was up and running. This made the setup process quick and hassle-free. Cost Effective, Easy Set Up

Pro- These bulbs are probably one of the cheapest I have found. The set up was incredibly easy. The app does most of the work, and then you just enable the skill. If you hate the excess apps on the phone, an old phone on wifi seems to do the trick. The app is a lot more intuitive than other smart devices, and this second purchase of these bulbs and I will probably buy again. Cons- These bulbs were slightly less bright than Sylvania. In my opinion, the bulbs are perfect for a bedroom or den. I use my brighter bulbs in the garage, or kitchen. The brightness level was quite small, but if you need the lumens, consider something brighter. The other con for me was that it was difficult to color mix with Alexa. You can ask for blue, or pink, etc but its not as easy to get the light pink or blue etc that you are wanting without using the app. You can do it with both Alexa or the brand app easily. This is pretty standard though, I have only found one bulb so far that has actually named any colors beyond four or five. I can ask my Sylvania bulb for tangerine, but not pretty much every other brand. The second purchase shipped a bit slower than the first but I was contacted by the company before I even knew about the delay and was issued a small credit.

The best Wifi light

I love everything about this light. I have tried several brands and this one is the best. I love the options it offers and it works great with our Alexa’s. I also love that I have the Sengled app and I can control the light from the app too. I note have 3 of these lights. I have tried the Amazon brand and a few others and had to return them all because I couldn’t get them to work consistently. That is not a problem with this light.

The best Alexa controlled Bulb ever!

This lamp has never let me down. Absolutely simple to connect to Alexa and easy to control. I love the different daylights that it offers, and even the colors are fun!!! I would absolutely say buy this first before any other Smart light. You won't be disappointed!!!

Sengled Smart Light Bulbs, WiFi Light Bulbs

To many times I need light in my kitchen but the switch is to far away specially when cooking so need help. Checked and can't find smart Chandler bulbs but other ceiling fixture uses regular bulbs which are available. Picked these since just daylight white and Alexa controlled but couldn't get to work with tuya app so needed to download Sengled app only way to get Alexa working with them. After few minutes with app and grouping in Alexa I got control of my lights. Seam bright enough and will work few days with them will tell.

Nice lights with multiple colour options

These are my 2nd and 3rd Sengled lights. The first came with my Echo Dot. Alexa controls that one perfectly. With these two, Alexa isn't able to change to all the colour options (I.e., Warm White and Soft White are the same colour; Daylight White and Cool White are the same). If I use the Sengled app, I can get all the different colour options.

They are constantly losing connection

I own Sengled Bluetooth bulbs and wanted to add more lights to some rooms. I didn't realize these were Wifi bulbs when buying but when they arrived, I thought probably they wouldn't be any different than Bluetooth ones; I was wrong. First of all, these WiFi bulbs were a real hassle to set up. After the long setup process, they started turning on with Alexa commands but they kept losing connection every time I turned them off for longer than an hour. Stay away from this wifi version, go with Bluetooth bulbs.

Good product, no technical support available

I love the product, but unfortunately when I encountered a pairing issue and submitted a support ticket, no one got back to me for over two weeks. Hopefully they get back to me soon, as I would love to actually be able to use the smart features of my Sengled bulbs.
