PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This knob set is constructed of zinc alloy (cast zamak) and comes in a polished chrome plated finish. It is designed for use with a concealed latching mechanism, it has an straight bolt, and it assembles easily with a push nut fastener. This knob set has a 1-3/4 in. outside diameter, and it features an overall reach of 2-11/16 inches with a flat, slotted emergency-access knob on the exterior. Knob sets like these are used to replace broken and missing lever and knob sets of concealed latches. This knob set is for use with laminated doors, and it is easy to install. Note: Assembly will be permanent upon first unification of both parts. Attempting to separate the inside and outside knobs once joined may damage the internal push nut component. FROM THE MANUFACTURER This concealed latch is constructed from zinc alloy. It has a chrome plated finish and features a straight bolt design. This type of concealed latch is used on 1 in. thick laminated doors.

Fit is not right. Meant for thicker door?

I installed this on my 1" thick bathroom stall partition door. The inner and outer pieces seem to lock together with about 1-1/4" spacing. The pieces are locked now, cannot separate. The lock works, but there is a LOT of slop in the fit to the door. Did I do something wrong?

Good value for the money.

Easy to install. Worked well. Good solution considering the internal mechanism in the door was in pieces and apparently impossible to change without wrecking the door. Longevity may be an issue. We'll see...
