Decent quality frame, but larger lens than most men's frames. Shape a bit rounded rather than square
This Sferoflex Men's Sf2274 frame is a good quality mens frame with spring hinges. It comes in two sizes, 54-17-145 and 56-17-145 with a vertical dimensions of 39mm and 40mm. And in a few colors. The vertical dimension is a few millimeters larger than on most men's metal frames these days, so that would be good for progressive lenses and bifocals. You obviously need to know your correct frame size. I found even the smaller frame size to be a couple millimeters too wide on each side - the frame should not stick out beyond your temples . The frame material is the standard frame metal alloy and not the super lightweight titanium. If you can afford titanium frames, they feel much lighter on the face & nose, especially with larger lenses like this. However, I believe this frame may now be discontinued, so it may be on sale for a very low price. The frame description says "square," but I would say it is a bit more rounded at the corners than what a square lense looks like on the frame shape charts. One annoying thing on these frames and most others these days is that they come with hard tiny nose pieces, which you would want to get replaced at an optical shop with soft silicone (various lengths) for a few dollars. Otherwise the hard pads will press into your nose uncomfortably after a few hours of wear.
