Awesome brush set

I ordered this set after seeing a really gross video where someone grows mold, bacteria and fungus in a Petri dish from a swipe of a “clean” makeup brush. For obvious reasons I decided to swap mine out and start fresh. Instead of going to hunt down new brushes and spending a fortune, I decided to check Amazon and the quality seems great. I was not expecting these to be so similar to the better brushes in my collection, but they are dense, tightly packed, and super soft just like a $40+ brush if not better. In my initial inspection of the brushes I did not experience much shedding. A couple of them lost a fiber or two. I like that the brush tips are light in color so I can make sure they are clean. The holder is very convenient both for display and organizing and for travel purposes. Compared to a different cheaper set I also ordered, this provides a lot more value because all the brushes have purpose, and this also comes with the holder. This set comes with more of the larger brushes like a large tapered brush, stippling brush, and a medium powder brush, when compared to cheaper sets. The only brushes this set lacks are a very large powder brush, eyebrow wand and eyelash comb, which can always be purchased separately. I prefer disposable tools for brow and lash and rarely ever use a large powder brush, so it doesn’t bother me. Overall I would recommend this set to amateur or professional makeup users. The brushes that it comes with are suitable for 99% of everyday makeup needs and it was very affordable.

Very pleased with this product

I purchased this make up brush set based on the many positive reviews on the item. My other set had begun to shed bristles when applying make up. The brush set I received has very soft bristles and seems very well made. My favorite part, as I am not much of an expert on make up brush use, is that each brush is labeled for the brush type. The only thing I wish is that it had a fluffy powder brush otherwise I am very satisfied with the quality and value of this set.

Amazing brushes!

I was excited but leery because the other set I ordered was a disappointment. Don't hesitate! This brush set is truly full size, soft, labeled & best of all didn't have the overwhelming stink from glue. Wish they were actual sleeves then the double elastic loops. Makes putting some of them away after use frustrating. Mostly the larger brushes. And the loops are WAY EASY too big/loose for the last 2 thin brushes on the right. I moved 2 brushes to the center "fold" area. I really like the easel aspect of these brushes. Very handy. Totally worth every penny. I'd have given it a 5* if those 2 brushes didn't slide out. And if the holder loops were easier. (Debating on getting another one to store away incase they stop making this set.

Amazing Brushes

The Shany Artisans Easel 18 Brush Set is amazing. These brushes far exceeded my expectations. They are durable, soft and clean up very well. It comes in a carry case that doubles as an easel stand. This was my first time trying the brand and I will definitely be purchasing from them again. Highly recommend.

Soft, Dense, Affordable, PERFECT!

I am a makeup brush fanatic. I literally have hundreds of them from Wet & Wild to It Cosmetics to Morphe. These brushes really surprised me. They are super soft, dense (I don’t like brushes that are “thin”. I like them with tons of bristles) and apply liquid, cream and powdered makeup with equal ease. Liquids don’t streaks and they hold powder well so that it stays on the brush until you apply it where you want it. They are labeled and come with a guide, but I tend to use my brushes where I want them. I use the crease eyeshadow brush for concealer, for example. It works fine for both, however (I have two sets of these!) You certainly cannot beat the price, either. I didn’t get them on sale the first time, so I snapped them up when I saw they were on sale a couple of weeks ago. I love the handles and the size as they’re easy to use when applying my makeup. I haven’t noticed any shedding whatsoever. I haven’t washed them yet, but I’m OCD about cleaning my brushes so it’s important to me that they retain their integrity after washing. So once I do wash them, I will update this review to let you know how they turned out and held up. I use an electric brush cleaner and Ecotools brush shampoo. I also add a little bit of regular hair conditioner after washing my brushes as I find this helps the brushes retain their softness and fluffiness. All in all, if you’re looking for a good set of brushes at a great price, this set is great. Especially for beginners as they’re affordable and do come with a guide. They’re labeled with a “name” or type of brush that it is, but you can use the info found on Amazon to see what brush does what. I just take a screenshot and keep it in a folder on my phone and iPad where I can easily find it if I need to, but like I said before, I use my brushes for my own personal preferences and not necessarily for what they brand says they are for. Bottom line? You’re not going to be disappointed by these sleek, well made brushes.

LIFE CHANGING!

I have I an obsession with cosmetic brushes, and these are a game changer! I have high end brands (MAC, Sephora..and more) and these are just as amazing, and a fraction the cost! I will be purchasing these for my daughter in law who is an enthusiasts like me! And I bet her review will be the same! Don't waste your money on the high end gimics, these are life changing on a lower budget!

Me encantan que vienen con ese estuche que puedo usar para transportarlas en caso de viajar, tambien vienen con un manual (en Inglés) en caso de que no sepas para que puedes usar cada una de las brochas, aun no las uso pero al tacto las serdas están muy suaves!!!

A mi mujer le encantó, el estuche es genial porque permite no solo guardar las brochas ordenadas sino acomodar todas las brochas y tenerlas a la mano de inmediato, sin que se ensucien entre ellas o se maltraten. Hay una brocha para cada cosa y no le falta nada.
