PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Simplify your plumbing projects with the SharkBite brass crimp female adapter. Made from lead-free DZR brass, this crimp female connector is corrosion free and is perfect for making a transition between a PEX pipe and a male NPT threaded connection using copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamps. These crimp female couplers are compatible with PEX and PE-RT pipes. SharkBite brass fittings feature a minimum working temperature of 33 degrees F at 160 PSI and a maximum working temperature of 200 degrees F at 80 PSI. These brass crimp female connectors are certified for use in potable water and hydronic heating system applications. FROM THE MANUFACTURER When lower material cost is desired, the SharkBite barb connection system is the best option for connecting PEX tubing in water distribution systems. The PEX/Barb Connection System includes fittings, manifolds, valves, clamp rings, crimp rings and tools. Can be used with either SharkBite Clamp Rings or SharkBite Crimp Rings.
