PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Simplify your plumbing projects with the SharkBite brass crimp polybutylene adapter. Made from lead-free DZR brass, this crimp polybutylene adapter is corrosion free and is perfect for transitioning from polybutylene to PEX pipe. This crimp adapter includes two color-coordinated crimp rings – the black crimp ring is for PEX pipe, while the copper-colored crimp ring is for polybutylene pipe. These brass crimp polybutylene adapters are compatible with PEX and polybutylene pipe. SharkBite brass fittings feature a minimum working temperature of 33 degrees F at 160 PSI and a maximum working temperature of 200 degrees F at 80 PSI. These crimp polybutylene adapters are certified for use in potable water and hydronic heating system applications.
