Hard plastic not soft

Great fit and exactly what the description says. Except these are hard plastic, not a soft rubbery type.

Design change, old picture. Overpriced.

I use these as end-caps for cymbal down rods and other drum hardware for customizing drum racks. I've used these 1", 7/8" and 3/4" caps. These are god quality for that purpose but the consistency of the material fluctuates. Sometimes they are a bit flexible and sometimes they are more rigid. Not an issue really and my only complaint previously is that they are overpriced. They've been consistent in shape/design until this last set of 1" I purchased. Normally they look like the picture but what I received this time is completely flat on the bottom, no bevel and the body is tapered. The same product code on the box as previous but just different. I don't like this new design much so I'm not sure if I'll need to change brands or if a factory mistake was made with this set. When you customize you really need a consistent look.

Used as webcam caps. Works well

I bought these to use as webcam caps and they serve that purpose well. I bought the 1" ones instead of the 7/8" ones due to the reviews saying that it's not 1" ID despite what the description. However, I found they were much bigger than needed for my purpose so I thibk I should have picked the 7/8" ones. I'm not sure how well they would fit on chair legs that are 1" OD though so I can't speak on that myself.

Poorly made

Thin cheap material. One split when I tried to push it on, with my thumb not a hammer, one of the stool legs that I use in my garage. I had to wrap it in black gorilla tape. It will work for a stool I use infrequently in my garage, but I would never use them for anything on a patio or inside a home. Typical cheap Chinese crap

Exactly what I needed!

Needed (1) leg tip to sell a shampoo chair on CL. Most other vendors required you buy dozens (or hundreds)! I didn't need a multiple lifetime supply, so Sheperd Hardware had a 4-pack available. The size and color are exactly what I needed, and said shampoo chair sold within hours.

Package damaged and opened.

Was open when I opened the bubble envelope. It's missing one and apparently NOT able to return. Not impressed. I would like my money back or a replacement.

Inaccurate size in ad

It's unfortunate the ad said 1" was the inner diameter. The packaging I received clearly shows the 1" as the OUTER diameter. Now I am stuck with, and wasted money on 4 packs, since they don't fit and the company doesn't allow returns.
