Stools look awesome for the price!

Product description shows that they arrive assembled…they do not. Assembly instructions are not clear. The parts are labeled alpha on the instructions but numeric on the pieces. Also some of the holes don’t line up exactly between the legs and the stretchers. But once I figured it out on the first one assembly wasn’t too bad on the rest. Also, they don’t have floor glides and the wood on the bottom of legs is pretty rough. Seems like they would scratch floors so I’ll add glides. Overall, for the price the little extra hassle is worth it.

Sturdy stool

Love the sturdiness & color. Would have given 5 stars but it arrived without instructions and a wrong leg! So I had to call for them to ship out the correct part. Still waiting. But love the one that I was able to put together.

First, let me say that we have the Bolanburg table, chairs, and bench. We were thrilled to find “bar” stools that matched our set. They did look a little short in the pictures, but without measuring (shame on us) we thought they would be taller than they are. That isn’t the fault of the manufacturer but us for not doing our due diligence and measuring before making the purchase. They were not usable in our space as they were at least 8 inches too short for our bar. Do yourself a favor and check the dimensions OR, if you have a high bar, know that they will not fit. Now, on to design. They are beautiful like all of the Bolanburg pieces and are wood. One of our seat tops had fabric that wasn’t exactly straight. Minor, but I’m a little ocd about certain things and did notice it. Assembly is very straight forward and easy. The pre drilled holes were not lined up in places, however, and wouldn’t fit together flush. The screw tried to go in at the wrong angle and was almost visible assembled along with slight gaps. I didn’t have a drill. It might’ve been a non issue with a drill. Our table and chairs are not even either but our furniture sliders evened that out. It’s probably a manufacturing issue but it’s slight. Nothing to get too upset about. Once assembled, I was a tad disappointed. One, in the fact that they were shorter than expected. But also, they just didn’t have the same wow factor that the table did. They weren’t overly comfortable, and I wouldn’t have wanted to sit on them at a bar for a long time. I do love their chairs and they are similar except that the backs on the chairs make a huge difference. In the end, my husband hated them. He loves our table but hated the stools. He said they absolutely would not work. We took them apart, repackaged them, and scheduled a hassle free return. I am sure they are exactly what some spaces need but weren’t right for us.

Nice looking. Fits our counter perfectly. Hard to assemble.

Hard to assemble. Instructions are not clear (some were written in Chinese). Items did not match items in the instructions. For example, the instruction says item A , but , the item is actually labeled 1. Also, it would be easier to use a screwdriver instead of an Allen wrench that was provided.

Awesome bar stools

Love my new Bolanburg barstools. They are comfy and sturdy. The price was reasonable. Best of all they matched my Bolanburg dining room set.

Very happy with my purchase

The 2 stools were very easy to put together, all parts (legs & foot rests) were lettered and it only took about 10 minutes for each stool. These arrived in excellent condition (not like other Ashley items ordered recently), guess we got lucky this time. I love the antique white/white wash look on my brown floors, they blend perfect with my granite counter tops (cream/brown tones). The only negative they don't put a pad on the bottom of each leg so I will have to go get some. I went & looked at these at our local Ashley store, sat on them and they are well padded, so I knew this was what I wanted. The stupid store would not sell off the showroom floor (10 in store), you have to order no guarantee on delivery and more $$$ than Amazon. Found this with the dining room chairs I recently bought too. The poor salesmen work on commission, I don't think these big showrooms are long for this world when you can buy online and have Amazon back up the purchase & free returns. Received these in 2 working days. I saw the grey ones in the store very similar and really nice if you need something grey.

I purchased these bar stools to update my "great room," and the fabric color matches my current living room furniture. Also, I love how they are unassuming and fit well under the counter. My kids use them daily, and so far, they're holding up really well!
