I recently bought the Freshware 24-cavity mini silicone mold for my baking interests. My first attempt at using the silicone mold was with a recipe for coconut butter fudge. Since the batter was thick, I had to scoop it into the mold and smooth it out. A bit time consuming, but worth it in the end. I also needed to place the mold onto a cookie sheet to stabilize it when transferring it from the counter top into the refrigerator. After being in the refrigerator for 24 hours, I removed the fudge from the mold. Though most of the corners ended up being white for some reason ( I worked hard at working the fudge in so there would be no bubbles) the mold worked great. In the past, when I put the fudge in anything else, I would definitely have to use some type of oil to assist removing it from any bakeware. Using the Freshware silicone mold, I did not have to use any unnecessary sprays or oils to make removal easy and add more fat to whatever I am making. They came out with ease. It was also simple to clean. I just sprayed it with hot water before washing and it cleaned up nicely. It was a little tedious drying every cavity, but I would have to do that with any mold. This is the first silicone mold I have bought and used and I am very well please. I also ordered the Freshware round silicone mold and am looking forward to trying it soon.

Perfect for making crayons

I bought this to use for melting old crayons to make new chunky crayons. It works very well. The one drawback is that I have to have all the cups with something in them to avoid damaging the product, per the instructions. I just keep putting the broken peeled crayons in it until all the cups are full before meting them in the oven. I have access to a lot of crayons so it doesn't take too long.

Making them in my non stick mini muffin pan had become really tedious because the pan was so hard to get clean

I have been making "cookies" for my kids for years. OK, they are carrot/spinach/apple bites with applesauce, oatmeal, cinnamon, vanilla, etc. Making them in my non stick mini muffin pan had become really tedious because the pan was so hard to get clean, and I wasn't keen on putting them through the dishwasher. I was stuck in a round patty habit for a long time until I came across this mini bar pan. I'm pretty thrilled with this pan. My treats came out the size of mini granola bars. Granola bar shaped treats compete much better with commercial snacks, so somehow these even taste better than the boring round cookies. The bars came out very easily, and the pan cleaned up with hot water, soap and a few scrubs with a brush. I'm going to order some other shapes and probably another one of these so I can bake 2 pans at a time. It was time consuming to fill them with the batter, but my kids like the shape so I'll continue to use it. I put it on a cookie sheet before filling the pan.

Great for making gelatin gummies!

The "thin pieces" silicone tray is the perfect size and shape for making gelatin gummies. I purchased this product for that sole purpose and my gummies came out great! It was my very first time making them and this silicone tray made the process foolproof. Once they were set in the fridge (the entire cooling and setting only took about 10-15 minutes), the gelatin gummies were so easy to pop out. I just turned the tray upside down, over a container, and pressed my thumb against the backside of each cavity. There was very little gummy material left inside the cavities and for the most part all the pieces popped out clean. I also performed the "pinch test" on this product, which I have been told is a good indicator of 100% silicone. I pinched with my fingernail for about 5 seconds and the pinch mark remained the product color (a failed pinch test would result in a white mark where your nail was pressed). Overall, this is a great product that I would highly recommend and at a great price!

Easy to Use Mini Raw Chocolate Bar Mold

I love making my own raw chocolate bars and candy with no sugar and this Freshware 24 Cavity Mini Silicone Mold is the perfect mold for what I was looking for in creating a simple, healthy small snack and treat. I am able to make a large batch of mini chocolate bars all at once. I would suggest to put the mold on a flat pan before filling up with liquid chocolate. The first time I filled it up and tried to move to freezer, chocolate spilled all over the sides. I learned from my mistakes and use a baking pan underneath then put in the fridge or freezer to firm up. Afterwards chocolate comes out easily and makes cute little bite size raw candy bars. Clean up is easy and quick. Thank you Freshware for such a great and easy to use product!

Intricate designs make your chocolates or candies look posh

Chocolates come out with 5 each of 6 detailed flower designs. They seemed to release easily from the molds and they end up with a nice sheen to the surface of chocolate. I made sure to wash the molds first before using them and didn't notice a hint of any chemical taste transfer on first use. For reference, each chocolate made in these molds is about 1/3 oz weight (9.75 gm) in chocolate , to fill them all to the brim would be close to 10 oz.

Easy to use, easy to clean, and durable

I've had this mold for 3 months and made over 2 dozen batches of grass-fed beef gelatin gummies without getting any broken flowers or any tears in the silicone. I have no complaints, but one suggestion - without a solid base, the contents do spill (I don't have this issue with smaller molds). I lay the flower mold on a cookie sheet before pouring and then grab the sheet to move to the refrigerator. The instructions recommend spraying with oil to make food removal easier, especially with first use, but I didn't do this and had no trouble. I did use coconut oil in one batch of gummies and found them remarkably ready to pop out.

Easy clean! Great product quality

Worked perfectly to make mini chocolate bars! Popped it in the freezer after pouring, let it sit for maybe 30-60 minutes; ran the bottom under hot water for a few seconds and popped the chocolates out with my thumb. None of them broke or stuck. Easy clean! Great product quality.

Practico y limpio

Muy práctico, y ya que se enfría rápido es fácil hornear varias veces. También es fácil de lavar, aunque hay que usar charola ya que es muy blando
