Great product, easy to attach the legs.

For the reviews with the screws coming into the bottom, your legs are on backwards. The screws should come up into the walls and not the floor. Very nice quality and finish. Would buy again.

Almost great

The screws that this came with were too long poking through bottom by 1”! Had to supply my own screws for some of the feet. A couple of the drilled holes were short enough to use the sent screws but be ready to deal with this. Also the lid does not close all the way. Otherwise the product is nice for the money. Oh and it will take two people to get it out of the box :)

Requires a now-uncommon tool and wobbles

Putting on the legs requires an antique dedicated #2 Philips screwdriver with a skinny shaft because the self-tapping screws for the legs are sunk deep into a hole the exact diameter of the screw head. A modern replaceable bit driver, drill driver, driver extension, etc, will not work unless you have very long-shafted bits with no collars on them. Since nobody sells fixed-bit screwdrivers anymore except in a la carte packaging or professional kits—almost every residential tool set uses changeable bit drivers—you will likely have to buy a screwdriver or a new bit just to put this together even if you have hundreds of dollars of tools. At that point it’s stars off for not including the $1 tool to do it and making me spend $100 of my time instead. Once I did get it together (after finally finding a 4” long PH2 bit in the a random Skil screwdriver set, the bench wobbled badly even though I followed instructions to a T and tapped 5mm in from the corners. Upon further inspection, the legs are a little off square, the box is a little off square, and they have you self tapping screws through layers of pleather wrapping around the edges unevenly corner to corner. It’d be a minor miracle if it all lined up correctly when done. The fact that not only are the legs not attached, there’s not a dedicated place to attach them, is absolutely appalling for a piece of straight-to-consumer furniture and is reason enough for one star too. I can only assume the people not reporting wobble are either miracle workers, or are using it on carpet or padded rugs, which will generally counteract that. Or perhaps they did what I did and they’re using foam slider cups on hardwood, which does as well. But on a hard surface it’s no good and can’t be used with the legs as is. Ironically, that’s fine on hardwood because it also has hard plastic nubs on the bottom that have to be covered anyway. Rubber bins would’ve made a lot more sense for the feet of something you sit on. Too bad the bench is so low quality in terms of overall design and construction, because it looks nice and is a nice size. But, at best, it’ll be a $130 audition for buying a much better bench later for about twice as much in order to get legs that fit, etc. Maybe just skip this one and go straight to that one.

Best $200 purchase

Pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness and durability of this ottoman. This was the best $200 spent. There was a small ripe in the inside lining on the bigger ottoman most likely due to the storage of the 2 smaller ottomans inside, but this will not affect the quality of the furniture, nor will it mater for storage purposes. Extremely happy with the smaller ones as well. The only thing to assemble was screwing the legs on. They are nice and sturdy and gives great height to the furniture. Honestly you can use with or without the legs and still have a good height for the ottomans.

Quality for the Price

This product is well constructed and the storage box is large. I was satisfied with the quality of the product for the price. I would recommend. The bench top is not as soft or cushioned as the previous bench but it is sufficient.

Potential Problem with Foot Screws

After installing the 4 feet with the screws provided, I noticed that the end of the screws came all the way through to the inside bottom of the storage bench by 1/2”. This could be a very dangerous problem. My sister almost cut her hand. I found a solution by covering up the exposed screws but this should be brought to the attention of the manufacturer.

Works as bench for dinette in fifth wheel

Bought this for extra storage and to use in our fifth wheel as part of our free standing dinette. Perfect fit and height for eating. Color also matches our existing dark black/brown chairs and couches. RV is a 2016 Grand Design Reflection 303rls.

Nice, mid-level ottoman

We're really enjoying this ottoman. It's a nice muted blue color, the piece is well constructed, not very cheap feeling. It's not a luxury item, but neither does it feel like you just bought it at Walmart. I remember assembling the legs as not perfectly intuitive - you had to kind of guess where they should go exactly. But then, they only exist under the ottoman, so unless you get them way off, no one's going to notice if they're not perfect. Only a problem for those OCDers or over achievers. All-in-all, just a good solid piece of furniture. Can't ask for much more than that.

Amazing Storage Box!

Love everything about this storage box. Quality is fantastic, lots of storage space. The distressed brown is a lovely, warm colour. Finish is suede-like. The feet are shipped separately from the unit (ie. not installed) and are very easy to install into the pre-drilled holes. Would highly recommend this product.

Very nice sturdy bench

Very nice sturdy bench, I bought it because my kid always climb on his chest toy to get to the window, I could fight it, but it was easier to change that to something better looking as well. The black color is more of a very dark brown and fits perfecly with my sofa, exactly like on the pictures. one star removed because some of the threads on the cushion were poorly finished, but the overall quality is nice. hinges stay open, so it is safe for a kid (unlike their notice that says not suitable for less than 4 year old) this is the perfect chest toy hiding in plain sight for us. The cushion itself is not the most comfortable, but it is not too hard either, making it an extra seat when we have guests
