Decent decent bang for the buck 4E/XW walking shoe, stock inserts can fool you though
Looks are exactly as the pics show. No surprises there, what you see is what you get. I bought half a size up, thinking I could put a nice shoe insert in when the stock ones work out, and now I'm thinking I should've bought a full size up. I bought a 12 4E/XW shoe and the toes feel a bit tight. Normally I'm a 11.5 4E/XW and I have other shoes in that size that fit perfect. The tightness isn't enough to be uncomfortable but it is noticeable. Pulling out the memory foam pad does help with toe space but less than I thought it would. I'll probably have to hunt around for thinner but still decent shoe inserts. Comfort is otherwise mostly fine. Though I will say that the memory foam inserts it comes with flattens out around the heel and middle of the foot when you stand up so its actually providing very little cushioning. Does make the shoes feel fairly nice (better than they really are when walking) when you first put them on though so don't be fooled by that. The actual lower of the shoe is doing most of the practical cushioning when walking and is decent. Its a 2 part lower with the squishy foam cladded in harder rubber to give it abrasion resistance. The tread is very aggressive so it should grip well on all kinds of things. I can't speak the durability over all since I've only had them a day but out of the box I'd expect them to last at least a year. They seem well made and none of the materials seem flimsy at all.

Comfortable
I like the sneaker. I wish it didn’t slip on my heel though. I’m not sure how I can address this issue.

Good, but could be a little better.
As a person with Edema in the feet, it's hard to find shoes that will work/fit. These are good, but have a couple things that could improve. 1) Velcro - make the velcro on both sides longer to compensate for adjustments based on swelling. As is, some days I can't use the 2nd velcro strap as won't reach to secure. Other days, i start with it loose then sinch up throughout the day once the swelling's been pushed out. 2) a little tight in the toe area - where the big toe meets the foot, it's a little tight (width/hight) due to the shoe build itself. If they made it a tad wider & slightly taller, it'd be more comfortable. 3) needs a pull tab at the back to keep back plane in the vertical position. Once I get them on, it usually takes a few minutes for the pressure from the top to push the fluid out of my feet making it a bit more comfortable. So far, these are holding to the normal Sketchers build quality & endurance. On a scale of 0-10, I'd rank them ~7.5 due to the above complaints.

Good for after shoulder surgery!
The media could not be loaded. I got these for after my shoulder surgery when I had to return to work after a week and a half (no paid sick leave welcome to America :P ). I couldn’t move my one shoulder enough to tie my shoes so these shoes were a blessing to be able to put some proper shoes on for leaving the house! Tying your shoes one handed would have been too much effort. They’re not the most stylish—so not for your vain teenager to wear. Once you reach a certain age though, fashion takes a backseat to practicality—especially when recovering from a major surgery. The grip on the tread seems pretty decent as I didn’t fall. I would still be careful on slippery surfaces and add microspikes if walking on ice.

Quality
I bought a shoe like this from a competitor. It was a different brand and did not hold up well. This appears to be of good quality. I'm happy.

Best Shoes for walking aids
My dad swears by these. He has MS and has to wear a bulky brace on his foot. These shoes accommodate that well, are comfortable, hold up well and the velcro closure is very easy for those with mobility issues. Highly Recommend!

Better than I was hoping for lol
Love them. Wasn't expecting hiw much I was going to love the soft squishy soles. I 539lb (around 250kg+) and my feet are constantly sore afterwork. I just switched to these and just the normal built in thick squishy memory foam soles have completely changed how my feet feel but the end of the day. Normally I had a hard time walking around once I got off my sore feet and than tried to walk around my house. Walked around like a cripple after work everyday. Now I go to the park with my kid and walk around stores afterwork. It dropped my sorness from a 7 or 8 to a 2 or 3 ( out of a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being pain free and 10 being in tears). I seriously suggest any heavy people or people with issues with sore feet try these out. Fantastic price and I can actually go enjoy my life better every day.

Nice shoes. But I ordered black color, got white
This is my second time ordering these shoes. Comfy and sturdy. Fulfillment experience is not so good. This time I ordered a black pair but received white.
