5 minute fix!

We live in Ohio and recently we had a real bad freezing rain storm overnight. The next morning it completely slipped my mind that our sliding door had probably completely iced over. It had. My kids had me capture a spider and wanted me to throw it outside so it wasn't I the house anymore, and in my rush I flipped the lock, grabbed the handle, yanked, and ripped the whole door handle off. Part of me felt pretty strong, the other part of me didn't like the sequence of events. Purchased this off Amazon and it showed up a few days later. It literally was a 5 minute fix. Unscrew your lock, unscrew the two holding the handles together and the main handle pieces detach. Replace the outside handle, line up the inside handle and start tightening. Make sure your lock isn't SUPER tight so it doesn't turn easy, but not loose so that it flips all around. Pretty cheap fix for an annoying problem!

Junk, to be honest.

Im replacing the same handle because the screw well just busted off on the outside handle. The new one, they didn't even thread the screw wells deep enough to fully screw it in. I had to cut and file the screws down to fit properly. Cheap junk metal. Anyone with a crow bar could bust this thing apart in two seconds. No joke. Go somewhere local and buy a proper handle.

Worked great! This was ordered to replace a broken handle on an old door and the measurements were spot on. I did have to make a larger opening on the sliding door for the latch to fit, but it was very easy and is working great.

Great Product...Works Perfectly

Fast shipping, excellent product. My husband had managed to lock himself outside several times because the old lock would drop back into the lock position with very little stimulation. This product works extremely well and the issue of being locked outside is now gone.

El vendedor te hará tranza

Al momento de intentar hacer la compra de 12 unidades incrementaba muchísimo el precio, según por gastos de importación. Al seleccionar el envío de dos en dos se eliminaban las tarifas de importación, pero se elevaba el precio del producto, cosa que no note si no hasta que me cobraron menos por el octavo par. Cancelé todos los pares que ya había comprado, y al comprarlos de nuevo ahora sí me respeto el precio y no añadió tarifa de importación. Pensé que era raro, pero que ya lo había solucionado. Cuando me empezaron a llegar, no llegaban en pareja sino en cajas de 4 a 6, por lo que comprobé que nada más me querían sacar dinero a lo loco con su estrategia. Y para colmo al abrir las cajas veo que algunos de los pares no coincidían con las descripción de la foto, siendo más oscuros y de más baja calidad los que enviaron. De una u otra manera el vendedor se quiso pasar de lanza conmigo y lo acabó logrando. Tengan cuidado.
