The 18-8 stainless steel flat washer has a plain finish and meets Deutsches Institut für Normung DIN 125 specifications. The flat washer provides a bearing surface for fastener load distribution or is used as a spacer between components. The 18-8 stainless steel material provides strength and offers good corrosion resistance in many environments. The material may be slightly magnetic. Washers distribute the load of a fastener across a surface and can also be used as spacers, springs, shims, or locking devices. Within DIN125 tolerances, some burrs

Bag labeled DIN 125, 9 mm OD, 4.3 mm ID, 0.8 nominal thickness, quantity 100. DIN 125? YES! Perfect. Quantity 100? Actually, quantity 101 -- but there was one defective, so comes out to as-advertised. 0.8 nominal thickness? YES! -- measured thicknesses were about 0.75 mm (within 0.05 mm) 4.3 mm ID? I measured 4.4 mm ID, so off by 0.1 mm. That is within DIN 125 tolerances. 9 mm OD? I measured a range of 8.72 mm to 8.83 mm. That is also within DIN 125 tolerances. Some have burrs, but removing them is no big deal.

Great for XBOX360 RROD Repairs

If you are trying to fix the XBOX3360 3RROD issue and you don't have the equipment to re-flow the board; then these are the steel washers to use. You would want to use these in conjunction with the following items to achieve the best results: Nylon Flat Washer, DIN, M5, 5.30mm ID, 11.00mm OD, 1mm Thick (Pack of 100) (Granted you don't need 100, but this will give you the specs you need. Stainless Steel 18-8 Metric Phillips Pan Head Machine Screw M5-0.8 x 12mm Length (You should be able to get these at your local hardware store.) Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound 12g/3cc Tube (Get this if you plan on doing quite a few RROD repairs; otherwise you can just get the smaller 5g tube.) With all of that stuff you should be well on your way to getting your xbox360 back up and running.

I know they're just washers, but these are GREAT

Hard to get excited about something as mundane as a washer, but I really like these. They're a high quality stainless steel, very consistent size from part to part. I suppose that's to be expected since they were made in Germany lol. Side bonus, unlike many bulk-packaged screws, nuts, etc these don't have any kind of oily residue (likely in part because they don't need protection from corrosion during storage since they're stainless, but hey, it was nice to use them).

Good for the Price

About 5% to 10% of these washers have burrs or some other type of defect. But for the price, who really cares. Throw out the bad ones and you are still getting a ton of washers for pennies a piece.

Good price for decent washers, but the packaging could be better

I like ordering large quantity of parts from Amazon because of the great pricing, and these washers are no exception. However, I do wish Amazon would package small parts like these a little better. It came in a small cardboard box that was taped shut, but the small washers were apt to slip out the side. Other items, such as nuts were packaged in a sealed bag that ensured they wouldn't get lost. Regardless, I'll still give the product itself 5-stars because they're good quality, good quantity, and at a good price.

Saved my project

These washers were great and a project-saver installing new cabinet pulls on cabinets that weren't precisely the same thickness. Using the right numbers of these washers (1 -3) I was able to get each pull perfectly snug.
