Great design.

This is the perfect size for pour over coffee or tea. I love the temperature gauge especially. Looks so great on the shelf, too. Classy.

Nice design, but too many flaws

I liked the look of this kettle, and the temp guage is excellent. The kettle has other good design features; the spout is particularly good, and the handle didn't get too hot for me. The problems are 1) the rounded bottom effectively doubles your boil time when compared to a flat-bottom kettle (10+ minutes on my gas range), 2) the black finish chips relatively easily and there were visible discoloration marks from flames on my gas burner after the first use, and 3) the kettle makes no sound (no whistle or lid rattle) when boiling, so it just silently spits hot water all over your stove. The long boil time was probably the most annoying of those three problems. We tried it for about two weeks and just decided the cool design wasn't worth the hassles.

Nice but not what I expected

This pot is really sleek and beautiful, and you avoid all the issues that can come with the electric kettles, however I feel it should be made clear that the temp control is just a gauge you have to watch, it's not something you can set on the pot and have a whistle to let you know when it's done. Which is fine but if you're making green tea, don't expect it to set the pot and walk away from it. The other thing to note is that the handle really does get pretty warm to the touch when removing the pot. It hasn't burned me but you do have to be careful.
