So far so good
Needed a tape, so thought I'd try after reading reviews. Early thoughts: first, it is not overly heavy compared with other tapes as some have said. Feels the same. Is compact as advertised and fits and feels well in the hand, especially with the rubber coating. Clip works well, not too tight Like some. Retracts fine, doesn't slam back like some but may need to assist it. Stands off 10 feet as advertised. I like the printed increments as my eyes play tricks on me sometimes. The locking button works well but is slippery plastic so I scuffed with sandpaper. Tape doesn't feel too thin, but time will tell on durability. I'm often to much of in a hurry to be careful with tools so we'll see. So far though, I like it.

A++ product
I don't know where they make them bu5 for the most part it's a D good tape measure. Broke a co-worker's tape measure (actually, it broke) he needed a new one this was the obvious choice for obvious! reason

Awesome tape measure
The tape measure is awesome. It functions nice and pulls smoothly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have the measurement stamped on the case for if you were measured against the wall to add the length of the tape measure body

The best tape I have found.
I have bought countless name brand tapes and never been satisfied. They either don't stand up to every day use or don't preform as advertised. The important things I need in a tape beside accuracy and durability is good standout, light weight marked on the bottom and easy to read. This does it all. Only two small complaints. Occasionally it doesn't retract smoothly and I have to pull it back out a couple feet then let it rewind. I wish they marked fractions on the first inch but I have never seen a tape that does that.

Solid
Awesome they have the inch breakdown. A must for any weekender like me.

Worth every penny
Totally worth spending a little extra for quality and very durable like our soldiers in and retired in service.

Imperial only - brilliant!
Feels like a good quality tape measure and is very clear and easy to read. Being imperial only is far better for me as I don't use metric. No space is wasted with the metric scale, just big easy to read numbers and fractions marked on both sides. Ideal.

What a tape big and clear to see

Exactly as advertised, seems tough. However mine came with a loose hook.
The media could not be loaded. Exactly as advertised, a good tape measure. However mine mine came out of the box with a loose hook and thus is an innaccurate tape. Measurements can vary 1/8th of an inch. Not much but enough to have to redo work.

Fabulous 16’ tape measure
Spec Ops - SPEC-TM16: Fabulous 16’ tape measure. No complaints whatsoever out of the gate. Love the clear double sided measure and clear illustrated fractions. Beautifully legible. My partner does not understand the unmarked measurements on a ruler, so when I saw this tape I knew it would not only be excellent for me, but also a learning tool serving as a clear way for my partner to understand what 5/8" etc means. Wide blade and perfect compact size. The lock stays locked, it engages/disengages easily without the need for excessive force and you actually feel it lock in place. Priced fair. My other two tapes which I've always loved are Stanley FatMax, but I wish I had known about these Spec Ops tapes sooner because all of my tapes otherwise would have been Spec Ops. The scale measurements accurately matches up with my Stanley FatMax. And, with 3% being donated to veteran and first responder causes; I can’t argue with that. If you’re considering to buy a tape measure; I would say, don't hesitate, buy this one.

very good belt holder
1. the tape is very heavy compare to other tape i got but my job is not tape focus so it don't matter me :) 2. the tape is very big so i guess it would be good for construction and work very well 3. my tape how ever was bent from place to place, it don't really matter me as my job is not tape focus but if this is on all tape well my guess it not going to last long, but it could be a defect on my end so you lost a star there ppl :) 4. WoW very great tape holder i have seen cheap tape holder from 60$ tape measure, right there that a 3 star would give more but got to keep some star for other stuff lol. but it can be very tight on my belt or pouch, may be it will loosen up with time. in the end this tape is perfect for me and would gladly by a other one now but my budget is short so will wait went this one run out and buy a other one then if there still more:) i wish how ever all type were made of good quality like this, very good job.
