Great product that I used to organize items in my pantry.

It's OK, very inexpensive.

You get what you pay for, I guess. While serviceable, this basket is very cheaply made compared to others (that do, to be fair, cost twice as much). Lighter weight materials and the wires are just folded over, not soldered or twisted. To understand what I mean, to secure the wires making the basket they just ran the wire to the frame and folded it over the wire frame (like a hook). Better baskets have the wire soldered in place. Now this will be fine for light use, but it just caught my eye and looked strange to me. On the other hand, this basket is very inexpensive. So for light uses like holding things on a closet or pantry shelf, it may well do fine. But not suited to heavy duty loads or handling. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars and finally decided on 4 based on the low price and good size.

Versatile

I love this versatile basket. I have several in my pantry to make snacking easier for my family. I bag up crackers, chips, nuts and more then throw them in the baskets. It saves space in the pantry and the kids know which basket they can pull from when they need a snack. They are very sturdy and I love the silver finish. I also plan on purchasing more to include in the bedroom closets as I finish organizing them.

Wider then I though. I need one thinner and longer for a make shift scooter basket, would make a great bike basket. Is heavy and sturdy. For now it has found a home for the dog toys...

Good extra storage for activity bags

Got these to create more storage in the mudroom above each of the "cubbies" the kids have for all of their stuff. These are great for "sport" or activity bags like soccer, dancing, etc. Really like the cut out in the front as they are mounted up high so this allows the kids to easily get stuff out of them even though it is a reach. They seem smaller than you think when you get them. We measured and when we got them we went "oh." But once I hung them, their size is what we needed and just fine. I used a big Fender washer to bridge the mesh in a couple of places if you are thinking of hanging them, that is an option. Real sturdy and no going anywhere.

Beware of color difference

Spectrum Diversified Scoop Wire Storage Basket, Medium, Satin Nickel Please be sure to look at color swatch. My idea of nickle and Amazon's idea of "satin" nickle are so different. I needed a grayer color, however this is more a beige. It is a really nice big basket, however, the color is off. I noticed another reviewer that said the color they ordered was not the same when it arrived. Just be aware of color as you order.

cool little baskets

I love these little baskets. I ordered two for my kitchen makeover. I wanted wire baskets for my lovely stainless steel top and chrome wire shelf work table. They needed to be a certain width-depth-length and it was very time consuming searching for just the right ones. Oh, they're available, at ridiculous prices. I shopped ALL OVER, but I finally sleuthed them out at Amazon; I can tell you this was the BEST deal out there. Thanks, Amazon, I love my little baskets! They look so good you can't even feature it!
