I love it!!
The media could not be loaded. I have been into RC for my entire life that I can remember I built my first RC car when I was probably in the 3rd or 4th grade stayed up all night blah blah blah heaven said that since the inception of brushless motors and then later lipo batteries is very much welcomed I have gone through plenty throughout the time frame since both have been introduced and I can tell you I've been through quite a few chargers trying to find something that didn't take a rocket scientist to operate and I have bought the best of the best when it came to that and no matter how much money I spent it seemed to be way too complicated to do something so simple that back in the day just was a matter of plugging the battery in and adjusting the amperage so heaven said all that this spectrum line of smart batteries is a fresh breath of air to me off top they're are some problems with it I do know that there are I have had a couple of problems with it but Horizon is pretty good about fixing problems with you deal with them directly having said that this smart charger which is not strictly for smart batteries you can charge regular lipos on it as well as high voltage and the Fe you can charge them on there you simply plug it up and select your amperage and start your charge if you don't have a smart battery of course you got to plug in a balance lead that's expected but this is as simple as it gets. I cover the entire process as well as how you can tell which amperage you max out it with this charger which is a cool feature by itself check out the video.

Great charger for the money
That's a very nice charger for the money. Can be difficult to understand for beginners but the manual helps out a lot. For those struggling with batteries not charging I advise making sure the battery is not dead (which was my case), also get yourself a multimeter. Other than that, I feel like you pay ONLY for essential features in this charger and I like it. This charger covers current-gen and previous-gen common connector types so you probably don't have to worry about adapters. No weird stuff here, everything is modern but basic.

Won't charge!
I bought this with a brand new spectrum battery. It just gives me errors. And won't charge!

Junk!
I got about 5 charges out of this overpriced crap and now it says everything is an abnormal connection. Smart batteries and standard lipo. Really disappointing. This is the kind of reason people hate spektrum stuff, you pay high quality prices but you don't get the quality.
