Extremely flimsy rope

My dogs love playing tug with stuffed and fabric toys. All fabric dies within minutes because they are 60 and 120lbs. I've tried a variety of durable tug materials that they hated all of. They'll sometimes play with a standard cotton rope but they rarely will start playing with it on their own and frequently switch to whatever fabric object is nearby in the middle of pulling and running around with the rope. Occasionally that ends up not being fabric items they should destroy. They absolutely loved a fabric covered rope and I figured when they got done ripping the fabric toy off it they'd have another rope toy. Nope. The rope is as weak as the fabric on it. The ends of the rope completely shredded before they'd even finished pulling all the fabric apart. When it took a trip outside I decided it wasn't worth trying to make it last beyond a few days of play and threw away the chunk that was still intact enough for them to carry around. Even the rope is only suitable for puppies, small dogs, or soft mouthed dogs that don't tug hard. You can get more durable fabric only items for tugging than the rope in this.

Disappointed ☹️

We bought this raccoon from Amazon to replace an identical one that was given to us when we got our puppy. She loved it and it held up for a year of playing tug. Unfortunately, the replacement lasted only a couple of days before it started to fall apart. There’s a rope running through it so it’s still useable but we prefer the chewed up original raccoon. Of course it could be that we just got the one defective raccoon in the liter.

Didn’t last but my dog loved it!

It’s lost some parts but my dog still loves this toy so we still keep the carcass around for his enjoyment. Been one of his favorites!

Is a nice multipurpose tug toy.

It took a little while for my puppy to warm up to this. Once she did it’s been great. We can play tug with it, or she can use it by herself to keep entertained. She likes both the top and bottom, and I like the handle feature too. She likes the squeaker in the head as well. The crinkle sound is a nice bonus. I received the pink pig design. Overall I’d say it’s a nice value for the money. I can’t speak to durability as we only had it for 2 weeks. I think it is well made though. I do recommend.

This is our second one.... I can't say enough good things about these toys!

My Bichon loves to tug, she is not extremely rough on her toys, but she's strong for her size. I bought her a raccoon first and she loved it. It was one of the only toys she hasn't completely destroyed so I saw the chipmunk was on sale and went for it. Now she has two of them, she goes back and forth between them. The squeaker is placed were she can't get to it and the rope is a perfect size for her. I can't speak for a larger or stronger dog, but we are very happy with these toys. We may add more to her collection, Coco approves!!

I feel decieved... this is not an assorted set, it is just ONE. My pooch does love these, and I like that they're not as hard as just a rope when they go flying across the room, but this set of one is more expensive than other spot 23" rope animals that I've shopped for. I picked this one thinking it was going to be a deal.

Finally! A durable no stuffing toy!

I have been so tired of having my dog immediately rip no-stuffing toys in half, or tear out the squeakers. She doesn’t like playing with just plain (yet strong) ropes, she likes the ones that look more like her arch nemesis: The Squirrel. This toy has been a huge hit. She cannot destroy it, because the rope runs right through the top to bottom, so she’s always grabbing onto the rope when attempting to ferociously flay her fury foe. 10 stars for this! I’ll definitely buy another one once this gets too grungy... but so far it is holding up VERY well.

Got exactly what I was expecting. The rope goes all the way through so it wont pull into two pieces. Obviously if your dog likes tearing apart toys the animal fabric portion of this isn't going to hold up very long, but that should be blatantly obvious from the picture. There is a squeaker inside as well.

Sam loves his squeaky toy. Had to buy a few so he had one for each floor of the house
