It's not unbearable but it could be better. It also smells weird

I got a size small & typically smalls fit me well, I'm 4'9" 115llbs for reference, but this fit a little snug around the arms & chest area but I don't have time to return it because I'm wearing it to Disneyland in a few days. It's not unbearable but it could be better. It also smells weird, like chemicals but I'm scared to wash it because I don't want it to shrink. Other than that it looks just like the picture :)
