Is a very suitable repair part.
The Stens cable was an exact match for the busted one it replaced. So far is working nicely on the self propelled mower. The repair to the mower took about 10 minutes with basic tools. Study/photo the original prior to disassembly and just copy the route from the handle to the deck. Uses the same little plastic nut for adjusting the cable tension. Don't over tighten the cable any more than necessary to engage the drive wheel.

Perfect fit
Easily installed in my old Troybilt mower. It’s nice to have self drive installed and working again. One Phillips head screw driver and I’m back in business.
