Size down - site reco'd a medium

Amazon site recommended a medium vs large and bought in black. Wore to Oscar Academy party and just perfect for event and foresee wearing to non-formal events also. I'm 5'2" with the length hitting me mid-calve. The site did not mention, but this HAS roomy pockets!

Sizing ridiculously off

I am a true size small (4-6). I ordered an x-small based on reviews I have read elsewhere that this runs big. The x-small looked like a size medium or large on me. I even checked the tag after taking it off thinking I must have been sent the wrong size. It was an x-small. I am returning it.
