If you like it slick, Rick.
These Madden shoes have the classic patent “leather” look. For my wife and I this evokes cheap and plasticky. Even at a list price of $120, all the uppers are “man made.” But if you like the ultra gloss look, the buckle draws the eye in and you’ll likely like.

Shows Quick Wear and Discoloration
I actually really liked the look and feel of these right out of the box. The problem is that with very light wear these have shown a ton of discoloration and spot marks. I get that leather ages, but should not “age” this quickly when I’ve only worn them a few times and owned just over a week or so.
