Wood beetles!!!

I've had my eye on this tray for a while now and was excited that I was finally able to get it! Imagine my extreme disappoint when receiving and opening the box a bunch of wood beetles fell out! The tray is made from natural mango wood which these beetles are attracted to, they cause irreversible damage and have been continuing to do so as they have been hiding inside the wood, slowly eating away as evident by the small sawdust piles that kept being left. I was hoping that it wouldn't be too bad and I could keep the tray as it really is beautiful and well made, has good weight to it too. Better quality control and packaging for this would help to keep these damaging pests at bay as the tray was only protected by brown paper inside the box, bubble wrap or similar probably would've served as a better deterrent. I've asked for a replacement, hopefully the new one I receive will be untouched and in tact, I'll then update my review when it arrives and has been inspected. UPDATE Now changed my previous 2 stars to just 1!!! Just received the replacement and it's actually WORSE than the first as you can see by my photos, PLEASE DO A BETTER JOB AT PROTECTING THE ITEM. Extremely disgusted and disappointed at this point, I really love how this tray looks but it's such poor quality control, fuming.
