Amazing, quality light
Battery used on low setting for over 30 hours and still had charge left.

HIGH QUALITY!
This light is small, but heavier than expected due to the quality of materials and workmanship. HIGH QUALITY! Everything is tight and smart. No gimmics, or useless features. The light is more than bright enough! Excellent, and VERY well thought out and executed! I might want to have the option somehow of not having the power light on or maybe just a dim ring around the button. Also, I received a wall adapter to charge from. Would be nice to be able to charge via USB. I bought it to hang as a light in our hot tent, but it is so solid that it may be a bit too heavy. Not sure, yet. But it is such a good product that I can live with that if this is the case. I’ll just sit it on the table! It is expensive for what it is. No doubt. i am just thankful that if this light lasts as long as the quality suggests, then it may be worth it.

Absolutely great lantern with one little flaw
I absolutely love this light. It's bright, lasts a long time, and the fact that it's rechargeable makes it that much better. I do have one gripe with it. For use after a disaster, Streamlight blew it using the 12 volt charging cord. Let me explain. My wife and I survived the California Camp-Fire in 2018. The morning of the fire, we woke up to heavy smoke, and no electricity. We were forced to gather what we could in the dark by flashlight. It was absolute chaos. We fled the fire with very few belongings, and lived that way for weeks. Had we owned this lantern then, we would have grabbed it and probably left the charger (it needs a special one) behind. Streamlight should have made this lantern use a standard micro usb, or a usb-c charging cord, something everyone has with them or in their car. Even most portable backpacking solar panels have a usb 2.0 output that you can plug a phone charging cable into. Why they went with their own proprietary transformer and cable is beyond me. Other than that one feature, this is the perfect light for a big room. Maybe Streamlight will read this and come out with a version 2.0 that uses a phone charging cord. That would make it perfect.

This is a SUPER little light!
I just received my Streamlight Super Siege and couldn't be happier. You get what you pay for and this is a solid, sturdy and functional light. I bought this light to use in my boat for night fishing for Crappie. I needed something that had adjustable lighting that wouldn't blind me and this is just the ticket. The white light on low is enough to see everything I need to see, without blinding me, and the red light feature on high can be left on for the duration of my nights in the boat, set in the floor of my 18' Xpress Pro Fish Crappie boat. Carrying this light by its handle and with the beam on high, I'll easily be able to see my way to the truck from the dock. I've purchased Streamlight flashlights before and I just knew this lantern would be a quality item. I wasn't disappointed. It's twice the price of the other light here on Amazon I was looking at but I didn't feel like taking a chance on the other one and felt the extra money was worth the peace of mind. Happy I spent the extra! I can recommend this light to anyone, without fearing they'll make a mistake by following my advice.

Best lantern hands down
Yes a bit pricey, but streamlight products are top of the line. There products are the only thing you will see with all law enforcement, fire departments, all military and search and rescue units, that should sum that up. But the lantern is the brightest thing ive seen i cant even use the high setting its that good. I was shocked cause it seams small but do not let that fool you.

Great value for money
I’m rather happy with this purchase. The unit is noticeably larger than some competing products on the market, so take note of dimensions. It puts out plenty of light and the red light option is fantastic for scenarios where you want to preserve night vision. The build in capacity to serve as a charger is welcome. Construction seems durable and it has some good mounting options. Deducting one star for not having an option to charge via USB (e.g. USB-C). That is more in tune with modern products of this sort and saves the trouble of managing wall chargers.

Good, rugged lantern.
Out scout troop has been using this lantern as a supplement to our traditional propane lanterns for the past 2 months. It is easy to set up and has been an excellent light source when unloading our gear and setting up camp kitchens in base camp. We still transition to propane lanterns in the kitchens, since we have large propane bottles for our stoves. We also use the Streamlight lantern as a source of illumination for work areas when building large pioneering projects (e.g., 50’ rope bridge with timber trusses at each end) and general supplemental light around camp. One small negative, I would prefer that the lantern use a USB charging port to charge the battery in the lantern rather than a barrel jack. This would allow us to travel with one fewer power adapter.

Extremely well made. Very bright.
This thing is unexpectedly well made. Every part of it is too quality. The flip out hangers are metal and they tuck in with a click. The flip out main hanger is also coated metal and also clicks in place. The cover to the charging port is well protected. The light is substantial and heavy. The light is amazingly bright. The drawback is very poor battery performance on high. Maybe an hour max. Not even close to what is spec’d. If you can live with that, this is an awesome light. Note that after an hour, it doesn’t shut off, it just steps down to the next lower level of light.

Well designed and bright
I didn't think I'd ever be buying this kind of a lantern, but I gave it a try and for me, it was well worth the money. The design is very well thought out and with the 3 brightness levels, red light, red flasher and USB charger, this is a keeper! I'm getting to be a big fan of Streamlight.
