A good flashlight, exactly what I needed.

I’ve had this flashlight for a month now. I’ve used it in two fires, has good illumination and don’t notice any weight change with my helmet. Do remember you have it on though when you are talking to the Chief, he doesn’t like being blinded by it.

Missing Piece

Upon receiving this product I unpackaged and notice I had two angle plate and only one battery (it takes two). A very good light overall

Nice flashlight

Nice helmet light, but the swivel, at least on mine, was impossible to rotate, had to use channel locks to move it, and that even took a lot of effort, still does. Replacing the battery door was very difficult also. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my son, don’t know why the swivel was froze, but at least the light is extremely bright. 3/5 stars.

Worked in a ripping structure fire

It showed up on a Monday, put it on my helmet and got it adjusted. Its pretty bright. I was worried about the weight of it as others I've experienced you can really feel on your head, this one is barely noticeable which is great. Sure enough had a working structure fire that night. While I have a LED light on my turnout gear, its not always pointing where I am looking. Having this lined up for where my face is looking is great, and it performed great. It was bright enough where I could see what I was doing in heavy smoke. Any heavier, no light would have made any difference, so it performed as well as my "big" chest light. I was absolutely soaked and covered in debris, but the light worked and the mount held up fine. I can't speak to the longevity of the battery, but it took a beating within hours of me setting it up and I was happy with the visual performance. Really easy to turn on and off with fire gloves on.

Almost perfect

Its bright and surely does the job. Only issue is I travel with my gear alot and my old streamlight 4 aa stick light never had this issue of turning on accidentally.. this one has done it twice, once I caught it and last week it was down to about 1 candle watt power when I realized.. I try to float my helmet up on top of my coat but still somehow turns the switch on... ill be even more careful now, but I mean, when I need it to be on..... I need to depend on it.... time will make me decide on this one ..

Very bright and durable.

I replaced a previous model of Streamlight with this (4AA model). This is much smaller, much brighter and easier to use than what I had before. It does come with a pair of CR-123 lithium cells. It's a little tough to close the battery door, but you will get the hang of it. Note that the polarity for the batteries is not marked on the inside of the battery compartment. It is actually on the outside of the housing. I just replaced my first set of batteries, run time seems to be many many hours, so very pleased with this. Quality of this light is 100%!

Amazing light!

This was a gift to our firefighter son - he raves about it! Powerful light cuts through smoke and has a great battery life. If my son is confident to go into a burning building with a Streamlight on his helmet, I think that says it all.

High quality, reliable.

My son in law uses this on his Fireman’s helmet, has all the features necessary. Haven’t personally used but have not heard of any complaints. Well build reliable light source with safety features.

Good value, very bright, good for MVCs and 360’s.

Very bright light, I’ve used it on my helmet for a while now and it’s been great. Once you get the mounting angle correct it’s perfect. Doesn’t weight too much so you don’t really notice the weight on one side. Compliments a survivor light nicely.
