These are a great size and are good for having around

I bought these when she was about 6 months old because her newborn swaddles weren't wrapping all the way around her anymore. These are a great size and are good for having around. But if your baby has any Houdini-like tendencies, like ours does, these won't keep their arms in when wrapped as directed on the tag. We have to fold the top down much farther than suggested, thereby foregoing the ability to tuck her feet in. You need the left and right corners to line up near the baby's shoulders in order to keep the arms wrapped, not down by their waist as shown on the tag. The material used for this swaddle in particular is thin and bunches up easily, so it is harder to keep a tight swaddle on our baby.

Two wonderful blankets for different seasons!

This set has one flannel and one marquisette swaddle blanket. I love them both. I've tried many different flannel swaddle blankets, and the SwaddleDesigns ones are the best. They're thick and they don't get pilly when you wash them. They're wonderful for cooler nights! The marquisette blankets are very nice for warmer weather. I slightly prefer the Aden + Anais muslin wraps, but the SwaddleDesigns ones are also very good. It's great to have an alternative to flannel during the summer months. These blankets are packaged nicely, too. I purchased them for myself, but they'd also make a great gift.
