The only ankle brace worth anything

The trainers in my high school passed these out like lollipops back in 1990, and I used the one I got from them for twenty years before it finally fell apart. I spent hundreds of dollars on other braces after two sprained ankles, and finally had to see if they were still made. I have thrown the other useless braces away, and I have one of these in black and another in white to match my outfits, and after 4 months of continually reinjuring my sprain, and a month in the swede-o, it is finally starting to heal. My short list for supplies to have on a deserted island would include chapstick and two of these.

This does not have a tongue

This has a stretchy area between the eyelets, but not a tongue. The lack of a true tongue puts far too much pressure on my injured ankle when trying to slip my foot in. The brace with a tongue I give 5 stars, but not this one.
