Tampax is my Favorite

When Tampax Radiant and the pocket-size tampons are unavailable, these ones are my go to. They're similar. I like that it has extra threading instead of a string (leak protection - kinda), and I also like the applicators. If your heavy days are super heavy, then these will need to be changed every 3-4 hours; that's my experience with the Super Plus size. You'll also want to have a panty liner on just in case. With Radiant, I don't have to change as often & I'm confident enough to not wear a panty liner. There's another version of tampax pearl but "Pocket" size, and I feel those are better than the original in regards to absorbency (even though they should be the same); I don't have to change as often but not confident enough to go without a liner. On the opposite side of the spectrum, compared to other tampons, these ones still get a 4 star rating. I've tried organic cotton ones and generic/off-brands, but they don't absorb as much so I have to change often & when I don't, it's bad news. Helping the environment is cool, but not having to use the emergency panties I have in my purse in a public bathroom is even cooler.

I never thought, for a day in my life, that I would ever be writing a public review of tampons. You know honesty, I really wish there was a way that we could be reducing plastics in these sorts of products. But that is unrelated. They do the job. A bit pricey. Shipping was delayed several times - but also a bit unrelated. Also, I find it hilarious that they’re asking for photos of this product. Like… Yes, let me post pictures of my tampons all over the Internet for everyone to see. What if they were used?
