Used on my mattress!
I had to buy this because my husband accidentally cut a tear into the fabric of our new mattress when he was taking it out of the box. It is very very sticky and will stick to itself if you’re not careful and once it sticks to itself there’s no unsticking so if you can get another pair of hands on it, it’ll be very helpful. I was surprised it did the trick because I wasn’t expecting much out of it. The fabric hasn’t budged since it was covered.

Fixed a Therm-a-Rest and rain jacket
I use this on backpacking gear. Worked to fix a leaking air mattress and fix a tear on my rain jacket. I cut a few different size patched and take them on backpacking trips to fix any leaks.

Worked Fine for Tent Mosquito Screen Repair
Though my expectations weren't high for this unfortunate and unsightly sort of tear, this product did a much better job than I anticipated patching a 3 inch rip in the screen of an MSR tent. I cut two patches the exact same size, flattened the repair area over a small piece of plywood on top of a box in order to have a surface upon which pressure could be applied, and had a helper for an extra set of hands secure the material in place while I affixed the patch and then flipped it over and put the same sized patch on the other size. We may have had a bit too much tension on the screen as it puckered a bit under the patch upon completion, but it IS 100% fixed. It's immediately evident that this is a durable material with excellent adhesion that will be a long-term repair in this specific application. Read the enclosed instructions carefully three times, read all the positive reviews here for advice, conscript a helper, and have a plan - you'll do fine. I got an extra box just in case there was an error (based on the negative reviews), but that's now in the big "repair kit" box for future use.

Failed to seal on Thermarest MondoKing
I tried twice, but this product failed to seal even tiny holes in a Thermarest Mondo King. All instructions followed to the letter: cleaned with alcohol, dried, patch extending 1" from hole, rubbed vigorously. But this type "A" press-on material fails to seal on woven materials - it can't seem to "get in" deep enough to seal up between the fibers of the weave. The leak appears to be sealed, but air is actually escaping all around the perimeter of the patch. The adhesion is excellent however - it's hard to pull the stuff off, so it's perhaps best as a mechanical fix for torn fabric. I'm not thrilled to now pay $15 for the official Thermarest patch, so I may try the ShoeGoo solution seen on YT.

It works better than I had expected easy to use, and seems to be very strong

durable
I used it on a cut in my soft top. You can tell it is there, but it has not come off or leaked yet, after 3 months. I say that's a win. I will buy again if I get more cuts in my top.
