This Tefen metric industrial 90-degree elbow hose adapter is made of blue nylon 6/6 and has a barbed connection on one end and a male BSPT threaded connection on the other to connect a tube or a hose to a female BSPT threaded connection at a 90-degree angle. This adapter (also called a connector) is made of nylon 6/6 for lightweight, strength, and resistance to corrosion from most chemicals and solvents. The barbed connection creates a tight seal on a tube or hose when secured with a Tefen snap clip (not included), and the male British Standard Pipe Taper (BSPT) threaded end connects with a female BSPT threaded connection, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting has an integral hex nut for tightening the fitting by using a wrench. The maximum operating pressure for this fitting is 200 pounds per square inch (psi) (14 bar) at 68 degrees F (20 degrees C) in a temperature range of -5 to +230 degrees F (-20 to +110 degrees C), subject to application.
