PRODUCT DESCRIPTION An assortment of prong, brad hole, and rectangle tee nut variants from The Hillman Group. Tee nuts provide an easy way to place steel threads into wood and provide the greatest amount of pull-out resistance of all threaded insert types. Variants included in this assortment range from #6-32 to 3/8"-16 in fine & coarse thread sizes and from 9/16" to 1" in height. Full assortment contains fourteen (14) refills comprised of Hillman item numbers #2501 - #2514. FROM THE MANUFACTURER Brad Hole Tee Nuts insert steel threads onto wood. They contain brad holes and must be attached by using small brad nails. Tee Nuts are designed to leave a flush surface in both hard and soft wood. The nuts offer a flat base with prong projections running parallel to the barrel.

Thanks to who ever corrected my order. I did a lot of reasearch and measuring to learn that these T-Nuts were the answer to getting my project just right. Amazon delivered my order to someone elses house and, I needed these T-Nuts really bad. All is forgiven because these nuts are perfect. The other choice I was looking at before I found these nuts were going to cost me $7.85 each and, I needed 24 of them. I almost paid $188.40, plus Taxes and shipping for those nuts and that would have made me a real NUT.

Item received does not match picture.

These are just standard Zinc Tee Nuts that are available at almost any hardware store, and not the Oiled Brass item in the picture.

Can mount anywhere . Too small

Very light duty. I think I can’t handle anything more than 2 pounds

They are tiny, but are as designed.

These did not fit the application where I wanted to use them. Not that the parts are bad. They are fine as designed, but I had misunderstood the dimensions and thought it was larger base. I would be concerned about the small surface and just brad holes to secure this in place. The legs should be short and not be dragged or this could break out of the mounting.

Great for casters on a trundle bed.

I used nine of these for mounting casters on the trundle bed I built. I was a little surprised at how small they were, because the image makes them look so much bigger, the brad holes especially. But they mounted fine and the casters screwed into them fine and they seem to be holding up fine. So I have no problem with them at all. I ended up using screw nails for mounting them to the frame. Hopefully they never come out. I feel pretty confident they'll last at least as long as the bed will.

A little confusing

The third number is the screw diameter. I bought the wrong ones. I intend to rebuy the right size. They seem like good quality fasteners
