I like these screws
These meet the manufacturer's specifications for the brand of cement board that I used. The problem is that the cement board screws they sell at the big box stores around me are larger #10 screws with aggressive threads. Compared to those screws, these drill easier through the board and put smaller holes in the metal studs.
