Trim Head screws have a head diameter that is about 1/3 smaller than bugle head screws. FROM THE MANUFACTURER These trim screws are used for casement and baseboard moldings, trim, cabinets, and anywhere finishing nails are used. The extra small head design countersinks and hides for a finished look. The sharp self-piercing point provides no need for pre-drilling.
