Thomas multi-purpose heaters are ideal for incubation and activation of cultures, enzyme reactions, immunoassays, melting/boiling points, and a wide variety of other laboratory procedures. These economical, versatile, and compact block heaters are designed for applications that require repeatable results and superior temperature stability. Each model accepts separate interchangeable modular blocks, which accommodate various sample enclosures such as vials, microplates, PCR strips, and a range of tubes. Each block has a thermometer well and features close tube-and-block contact to maximize heat retention and superior temperature stability. Blocks are anodized for corrosion resistance. Heaters front-mounted controls with independent LED displays show actual and set point temperatures. Optional external temperature probe kit monitors actual block or sample temperature. LED display on front panel will show actual probe temperature and adjust heater output to maintain user defined set-point. All dry block heaters include a built-in support rod holder for mounting the probe kit. Kit includes stainless steel RTD probe, 18" vertical support rod, thermometer/probe extension clamp and hook connector. 4 Block Capacity. Temperature Range: 5 above ambient to 120 Degree C. Temperature Stability: +/-0.1 Degree C. Temperature Uniformity: +/-0.1 Degree C.
