Super easy to install
I broke my previous one backing into something and bought the fat tire cup as a replacement. It took 2 minutes to install and fits perfectly.

Easy to Install
This fat tire upgrade was easy to install. I replaced the mounting that is closet to the car with this kit. I put a large and heavy RadRover Plus fat tire bike on the rack and the upgrade worked fine. The arm clamp (not part of the upgrade) that goes on the upper part of the tire was a little difficult to get clamped until I slipped it a couple of inches under the front fender. Then it clamped okay. I did notice that the clasp that holds the lower strap no longer has the leverage that the orignal clasp had. All in all I am satisfield with this upgrade. Note: I had no problems with the strap length that other reviews had.

Fits the t2, fits great big 4 x 26 fat bike tires
Worked excellent. Strap IS long enough. Parts fit a T2 a couple years old perfectly well. Great big 4 x 26 fat bike tires fit in the slots. Excellent. Easy install.

Worked perfect.
We needed to update our Thule bike rack to fit our fat tire electric bikes. This worked perfect, no need to buy another rack.

Expensive and subject to failure, but necessary to haul fat bikes
For the most part, it does what it's intended to do, and if you want to carry a 5" tire fat bike on your rack, you're going to need this. However, there are a few things about this product that I don't like. First and foremost is the price. Charging $50 to your customers, who have already dished out a fair amount of cash for the rack itself, seems to be taking advantage. That's $100 if a person wants to switch out both sides of their rack ($200, if you're also using the extension). Second, the buckle is attached to the rear wheel holder with thin, flimsy material. It broke off on mine, and I've seen another friend's having the same issue. This could mean the rear of your bike suddenly coming unsecured while travelling down the highway. Not cool. Thule did warranty-replace mine, but a redesign seems to be in order. Finally, I don't like having to remove and reinstall the rear strap every time I switch from my fat bike to a bike with smaller tire sizing.

Little short
I bought a new fat tire e-bike and wanted to upgrade my old Thule bike carrier which now cant get the front wheel lock to lock unless I take the air out of the front tire. The tires fit very nice unto these now but I wish the kit had an extension for the front tire lock down arm as well...

A couple of issues you may run into with this adapter
I ran into a couple of problems with this adapter set-up. First, know that this adapter works but only if you have a newer T2 XTR rack. I had an older T2--about 5-6 years old...and the issue is the ratcheting arm that goes over your front wheel will not extend far enough to go over a fat tire. I called Thule and they confirmed this. Apparently the older racks have a shorter arms than the newer ones. So I have to buy a new extending arm to make this adapter work. They don't have any of this info on their product page--so I was not happy. The new arm is $50-60 bucks, plus however time it takes to install. Second, the fat tire wheel well adapter is screwed onto the rack in place of the original. Problem being--the screw-in portion is made of a short, weak plastic receiver. Both of mine broke with just the slightest of tightening. Don't know if this was just a bad one--or if it's a manufacturing defect. But I barely started tightening and both broke. So now I'm going through the warranty process with Thule for a new adapter. All in all, not a good experience. Just be aware before you buy it. If you have a newer rack, probably not an issue for you. Jst be real careful screwing the wheel well on. In my mind, they should have used a more durable part.

Worked great
Read the instructions, wasn’t quite sure about the strap for the rear tire , you have to pull it out of the bottom notch and slide it into the side notch then it was plenty long for my 4.8” tire , also cradles were wide enough and fit well , so the kit is really good with 10 minute install, only downfall is the arm that goes over the tire is a little short and hard to get over front tire , but I did manage to get it to lock in place

Short strap
The strap for the rear tire holder is too short to go around a standard fat tire needs to be 5 to 6 inches longer at a minimum. 8 inches probably ideal
