Good
Update after wearing a few times: still happy with purchase but whew! So snug! I can feel them being broken in and it’s getting better but if there is one piece of advise I can think of - don’t plan to wear these for a long hike when you first get them, unless maybe if you’re familiar with the sizing of this brand. Also noted not much ankle support which I know is important for hiking. Original: I wear a 9.5 - sometimes a 9. In boots I wear 9.5-10. I ordered 9.5 in these, I am happy with the fit. If you’re familiar with timberlands typically being on the narrow side, these are just like that (I had forgotten). I am still happy with the fit, I tried them on with my heavy duty winter socks and they are definitely snug…but I feel like once I break them in they will be just the right size (plus I only wear those socks a couple times during winter). I have not worn these outside but I’m excited to soon, should have some snow days soon. I walk about 30 min in snow and on icy sidewalks so the right shoes are super important - will update once I’ve worn.

Great hiking boots!!
I purchased this for my trip to Alaska, as we had several outdoor activities planned. These boots were so cute, comfortable, and fared very well in every element . I am very pleased with them!

Hiking Boots WITHOUT a non-slip sole!??
For the love of God....why would anyone make a pair of hiking boots that do not have slip resistant soles? Seems ridiculous to me!! I have never personally owned a pair of hiking boots before. But I would have thought that feature would be AUTOMATIC! If you are climbing over rocks and hills and the like, I would imagine that it could get pretty slippery. Upon further reading it seems to be a toss up as to whether hiking boots are non-slip or not. This is my first pair and I do not hike. I bought them for work. I work in a refrigerator/freezer all day with food. It often gets slippery on the cement floor (which also tends to be very wet from the "iced foods" that come in daily.) There is absolutely no slip resistance whatsoever on these boots. As a matter of fact...it doesn't take much at all to be "skating". There are metal drains in the floors that do stay wet from condensation. I can't tell you how many times I have almost "kissed cement" when I have stepped on those drains. Or if I have stepped on a piece of fruit. So I ALWAYS have to be very conscious of where I step or what I step on. I don't have time to walk like I am on egg shells all day so I am not thrilled. Other than that I guess they are pretty comfortable. They could definitely use more cushion! I bought a pair of those gel insoles, unfortunately once they are in there is not a whole lot of room for your foot. Even when I loosen the laces it still feels like my foot is being squeezed in there. So out they came. I needed boots in a hurry as my last pair had seen their day. I thought Timberland was a good boot. I had a pair of Timberland work boots many years ago that were like walking on clouds. I've tried several pairs since then and they are so uncomfortable. I bought a pair when I bought these and returned them because it was like having boards strapped to my feet. No cushion whatsoever! So I would have to say that I will not be in any hurry to buy Timberland anything anymore...because they have "CHEAPED OUT." They are no where near worth what they charge. ***UPDATE*** I received these boots in June. It is now December and I already NEED new boots. The rubber is all pulling away from the boot. They look like hell. And while I am aware that my job can get messy...these boots look like they are 10 years old after only 6 months. Save your money. I have read several reviews about Timberland on Amazon. Many have said that the received FAKE Timberlands. For all I know I did too. I have had $25 boots hold up better than these!! GARBAGE!

A little ligher than pictured
These shoes are amazing but in real life they are a much lighter brown than they appear in the photos. Perfect otherwise though.

Great Quality
These boots are true to size, comfortable, warm, and very well made. I’ve had my other pair of Timberland for well over twenty years and they are well worn. I hope I have this pair for just as long… Rose S.

Great support for hiking but very narrow
These seem very sturdy and great for hiking. I have wide feet and these are unfortunately way too narrow. My toes are pinched. I also bought them for snow but they really are not meant for snow they are for hiking, which is totally my own fault.

Comfortable from the first wear.
Comfortable on the first walks for an hour each to break them in. Fashionable colouring. Compact boot. Excellent value for money.

Comfortable good quality boots
I ordered my regular size and they seemed a bit snug at first but wore in nicely. They seem quite durable, have decent grip (although I haven't tried them on ice), and are comfortable.
